“This is a small restaurant with big flavor. It has a large Tex-Mex menu and generous servings. I believe there were daily specials and of course loads of chips and salsa. There was a big screen TV, but I was too busy eating to know what channel was playing. I do know the El Toro Mexican Restaurant is on Cherokee. An easy exit off and on for I40 most of the time. There is some road construction in the area right now, but not enough too hinder or prevent a stop in if you're hungry.”

“We had a big group of family to feed We were able to have 3 tables and a whole corner of the restaurant to ourselves. We ordered so much food. No delays, within 20 minutes we had 3 ????pizza's, ????pasta,???? salads, ????☕????drinks and all. We had little kids, we were accommodated with high chairs and the waitress was so kind to them. We will definitely be back ???????????????????????????????? Our waitress ( HARMONY) was the BEST!!! ????????”

“Got to this store just a little too late for breakfast and wanted some cinnamon raisin biscuits, since we don't have Hardee's in our state. Knowing this, the manager offered to put some biscuits in the oven just for us if we were willing to wait a few minutes. We did, and were rewarded with some wonderfully warm, tasty biscuits despite the appointed cooking schedule for that time of day. It speaks well of the customer service you can expect from this store.”

“Listen, all you can eat catfish.... As a southern boy I shouldn't need to say anymore than that. There "set up" pinto beans, coleslaw, hush puppies, onion, pickle, and green tomato relish, all comes to your table almost immediately. Hush puppies covered in delicious pinto beans, man you could stop right there and have one of the best meals in the south (just need fried taters). But as they say in the infomercial wait that's not all. Your catfish and hand cut fries, baked potato, or baked beans come screaming hot from the kitchen. The catfish in my opinion was a little overcooked, but was very clean and fresh. To summarize, catfish... All you can eat... Pinto beans and hush puppies... All you can eat... Need I say more?”

“The original was addictive, however now that they’re under new management and have moved locations, it has really went downhill. The location itself has a few cute features but it’s empty and their salad bar is confusing. We didn’t even know it was there to get our salads and had to ask. The waitresses weren’t helpful which is kind of ridiculous considering there wasn’t many people there. The whole place had low energy. And there’s a place right around the corner with the same theme but better food and customer service. Overall though, the food isn’t “bad”. The fried chicken wraps are bomb and their French fries are awesome and seasoned perfectly - something you def can’t get around the corner.”
