“Daylight Donuts is located across the street from Braums just south of the intersection of 129th and E 31st St. The owners are so pleasant and caring. They pay special attention to the little ones that visit and they always leave wearing a smile ☺. Featured on the picture below is the Infamous Pine Cone Donut but the Apple Fritters and the Cinnamon Rolls run in at a close 2nd and 3rd! They also offer hot sandwiches and sausage rolls filled with cheese and or/ jalapeños. The coffee is always hot and the refrigerator filled with various cold drinks and milks. Last but not least bring the kiddos by to grab one of their creatively created Character Donuts! If you can dream it up they can skillfully draw it on a soft, moist, delicious Donut! 😋”

“This place is so underrated. The pastries are top notch. We have so many good bakeries in this town, make sure to show Gilded Acorn some love from time to time. I went here on a Saturday (free parking downtown all day) and walked right in and was promptly helped. The pastry case looked like something out of a movie. I got a few pastries to go (vanilla rum cruffin, ham and cheese croissant, cinnamon roll, and apple danish). I was very impressed with everything we ordered. So then I expect the old menu. It is a new menu with far less items. The Bagels taste fine, but all of them seem very uniform in shape. So this place is purely built on fast food style speed. “My SO and I came around 2:00pm on Saturday 07/15 while shopping around in Yukon. I downloaded the app first so that I could collect rewards. These establishments are popping up around the OKC metro, but neither of us had been to one yet. We both chose 44oz; I got the Buttery Beer and he got The Tropical. The parking lot is right next to Mo Bettah's (it is in Edmond as well) and the drive-thru was a little chaotic, but they had cones up to better direct the traffic to the correct establishment. There was several preselected drink combinations including soda, flavors, and add-ins. I have seen them at both locations have a server outside to collect drink orders, but we were able to place ours through the app. What we both got were great, but we both preferred the Buttery Beer. These would be great as an occasional treat or if I had to travel across the metro daily for work. They have a rewards program, but I still probably would not stop routinely. I wish they had more sugar free options. I, personally, would not routinely wait in a long line to order just a drink and would likely drive away to Sonic or OnCue. However, there was only person in front of us for our first visit. I don't plan to come often, but will happily come again and try something new!”
