“Oh, WOW! I LOVE THIS PLACE! From their newspaper style menu to the black bear decor. Oh, and let's not forget about the food. All my family and I can say is YUMMMM. The cook was amazing as well. If you are not a cook or chef then you don't know how hard it is to find someone that can get eggs right. This place is a little pricey, but you definitely get you moneys worth. My country fried steak was so tender I didn't even need the steak knife. Our server was great too. She had a very pleasant attitude, fast and attentive to our needs. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast.”

“I stopped here on my way from Crater Lake back to Seattle. I had the tomahawk steak with a baked potato and a side of mushrooms. Fantastic steak! Cooked perfectly. I ate at the bar and the bartender was a great and friendly server. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving a fantastic steak while in Bend.”

“Thank you for an awesome evening with my friend and I. Your staff is amazing and so kind and taught us well. As long as you listen and follow the rules it will be a super fun time. I didn't know that axe throwing was so much fun. I am excited to go back again. Totally recommend going and experiencing it on your own.”

“Made a stop at Crux. It is dog friendly, with a large outdoor space. The beer was terrific, with lots of choices. I went for a fruited sour. I had their grilled cheese sandwich (amazing!) with a side salad, while my husband had tacos from one of the food trucks that also hang out at the brewery. Great place to relax, and we are glad we made it a stop on our road trip!”

“We were passing through Bend and we stopped at Olde Towne for dinner and this place was great. True to the reviews they put a ton of toppings on the pizza. Almost too much, as the pizza crust can barely hold up from the weight at times. But that's a better option than lack of toppings. The staff was super friendly and the place was clean, including the bathrooms. It does have an old times feel from a sit down pizza joint from the 80's. Two pizzas took about 30 minutes. But the place filled up quickly around 5:00pm in a Saturday so I imagine waits can get longer when super busy. The pizza tasted great, it just wasn't the best I've tasted that's why I gave 4 stars. But definitely a good pizza, I would visit again if passing through. Also there is additional parking in the back so you don't have to fight for a spot on the street.”

“I have been enjoying the excellent food and service for more than 25 years drive up or call ahead if you're in a hurry. The Grand Dandy and real strawberry shake is my personal favorite. They now have online ordering and accept debit/credit cards. Don't forget to sign up for reward points!”

“Had a great meal and great experience. Was greeted by the owner during our meal and asked how everything was. He noticed that I hadn’t really drank out of a strawberry/banana boba I had ordered, when asked why I had told him it was to sweet for my taste. Without hesitation he said “allow me I will make you a better one.” (And he did). Great food along with great customer service, recommended 💯 % ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.”

“Some of the most tender and delicious fried gator I’ve had since living in Georgia. Seasonings we’re on point, including the strut sauce! Would recommend.”

“Comfortable spot to hang out on couches by a fire with a beer and tacos. Did not enjoy all the crowd or staff the place attracts, I left when the conversation with staff and clientele around the firepit centered around unemployment insurance keeping people from working.”

“The best food truck to open up in bend. 100% worth the price. I was born and raised here. Do not sleep on this place. I honestly don’t know how to get the point across besides the fact that this place is 1000% on it. Everything was good from the fries to the poppers to the meal.”

“Oh my gosh, this is one of my new favorite places in town. I haven't had anything on the menu I wouldn't recommend. First place I've been to in a long time where I wanted to eat there again for the next meal of the day. Reminds me of a 'modern diner' vibe with a great atmosphere. They're smash burgers and seriously, try everything on the menu”

“Absolutely love this place! Smoothies are great especially after a workout with their protein options. But really it’s the ladies that work there, they are always so sweet, sometimes even singing! Love the energy, and any time there’s an error they are quick to fix it. 10/10 will stay a regular.”

“Location is a bit tricky to navigate but it's well worth it, we had the Pad Thai and two BBQ Pork buns and we're really impressed with the quality of ingredients and with how fast we were served. The portion size is great too, one order of pad Thai was enough for the both of us, and we're big eaters. A delicious homemade quality meal for 2 for less than $20-- Definitely going back!p”

“Honestly I love this place. I get the same thing every time, Jump Start add Bacon on whatever bagel they have that I like. I got one the other day, and there was no bacon even though I paid for it (it’s like $3 more to add bacon) so I called and let them know hey you forgot the bacon just wanted to let you know, and the person on the phone was nice enough to give me a gift card for the amount of a new sandwich. Couple days go by, and I decide to get my free sandwich! Super excited, then my girlfriend calls me as I’m about to go pick it up, she needs a ride to ER because her nose was broken. So I did what any good boyfriend would do and dropped everything to take her in. I had to call in and cancel my sandwich order unfortunately. This is where it gets unsettling. The man on the phone didn’t care what I had going on, he was obviously upset/mad at me because the sandwich was made. I understand the severity of waste and food cost but he was flat out rude about it and when I asked if I’d still be able to get my replacement in the future, he hesitated and finally said “I guess.” Cool, fine, whatever. Now today I called to get my replacement. What do you know, there’s no more gift card there and he has to ask around the shop to see if anyone knew of my situation. Luckily someone did and I finally got my order in. I went to pick it up and the man at the window was flat out looked unhappy to be serving me and when I said “thank you I appreciate it” Al I got back was a “yep” and a window slammed in my face. If you’re that unhappy where you work maybe don’t work there. Wonderful food, aggravating service.”

“Update 1/2022. Still a solid no frills breakfast spot. Classic breakfast place with hot coffee, good service, fair prices, and good food. Diner atmosphere that is inviting and very family friendly. Everything you'd expect from a local breakfast spot. Anytime you're hungry this is a solid place to go and have a bite.”

“I enjoyed the Korean BBQ bowl, with shredded beef, served over Jasmine rice. It was very tasty! I got my veggie fix, and the bold flavors were delicious. Margaritas on the menu, but weren't available the evening we dined, several big cookies as options for dessert. I will definitely come back for this dish again.”

“The portions are a great size, the food was still a good quality about an hour to close. I love that they’re open late and operate a drive through. I gave 4 stars for now as I’ve only gone once.”

“Great flavor. Good quality food. Only issue I have is how do you eat a taco that you can’t see or touch the tortilla? They use the funky tiny tortillas and the only way to eat them is with a fork. Pick them up and the insides fall out. Not really authentic Mexican fare. Maybe some gringos trying to serve Mexican food. Trying to be hip. Should just keep it real. Use larger tortillas so a person can hand eat.”
