“A bit disappointing overall. I got the chicken satay and yellow curry w/veggies level 3. The curry was amazing, great flavor, tons of veggies. I’d highly recommend it. The rest was very meh. Paid for extra peanut sauce with the satay, it’s on the receipt, not included. Also didn’t include utensils or napkins. The satay came wrapped in foil in a plastic container and some part of it smelled horrible, like old musty socks, I think it was the plastic container. The satay itself was dry and tough on the ends, a victim of the warming light I’d bet. The other issue I have with this order is the rice container is smaller than the curry. The curry was filled to the brim and the rice was 2/3 full. I still have tons of curry left and no rice, I’d advise ordering extra rice. If they halved the curry portion and doubled the rice portion it would be perfect. Overall my impression is while having great curry, this place rushes orders and doesn’t pay much attention to detail.”

“This is a great brewery layout! They made tremendous use of outdoor patio areas (although it’s nice by the road, there is a lot of noise). The indoor seating area is also spacious and diverse with lots to look at from Big screen TV to vintage motorcycles. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 70’s chic lounge setup!! Great beer menu with ToGo sales. The restaurant menu is pub food, but at least they have salad/Poke options that are healthy. Dog friendly and very chill environment. The kind of staff that seems like they actually choose to work here. As far as the beers RPM & Hop-A-Wheelie are my faves.”

“I really like this place, the employees are so nice. Their pizzas and burgers delicious and creative. I really hope they get more business or they might not be around for long. Maybe some collaboration on some outside events would help with more marketing. They have a nice arcade for the kids and sports bar for the grown ups. You can go for the salad bar or for a party in their event space inside. They also have gluten friendly options which I really like. And my son really likes their fry bread with strawberry sauce and powdered sugar which is something you don't see very often on the menu.”

“My brother and I went to Big Belly Burgers and enjoyed not only great food but excellent service with a big smile. Jamie answered our questions with knowledge and patience, took our order and served us delicious burgers. Jamie advised us that they make their own patties and season them. “A disappointing first time visit where we had a missed order and a long wait. Management tried hard to recover though and addressed the issue accordingly. Ramen was tasty and fresh prepared. Several styles to choose from with unique flavors. Appetizers were good and seemed made from scratch. Local beer and wine. Clean inside but a kind of strip mall fashion and the overall location is a little rough. Ample parking. And prices were a little high but acceptable. Kids love Ramen too. I'll go back and give them another try soon.”

“We had the greatest experience with Shari's Cafe and Pies in Bend, Or for our wedding. Two days before the wedding they notified us that they could not get a certain flavor we had chosen and offered us the available flavors. The pie we chose in replacement of the out of season one ended up costing more than the original flavor we had chosen and they swapped it at no extra cost to us. “Update: 3 years later and it’s still great. Glad to see it has survived the pandemic so far. They expanded across the walkway for more indoor and outdoor seating. We still stand by that it’s some of the best service and food in Sunriver. Original: Good food—the Brewhouse salad is a family favorite. We also recommend the pulled pork and the fish and chips. If you don’t drink alcohol try the root beer. The staff here is friendly and works hard to keep up with the packed tables; good customer service is a rarity and hard to come by in Sunriver. Combine that with good food and tasty a real star. Nice patio and great kids play area.”

“We had a delicious meal the other evening, but that's not what this review is about. This review is for the incredibly thoughtful and caring service we received from EVERY team member at the Bistro. And that extended from our server Culley down to the youngest members of the crew - Rome, Hannah, Sierra and Caitlyn. If I missed someone, I apologize! Each of you made our anniversary one to remember! What was so great? It's not often you see employees of a business behave as if they truly care that you are there. I had made a special request of the owner when making our reservations. She not only honored the request with enthusiasm, she stepped it up a couple of significant notches! What she did cost time, effort, and money. When we arrived for dinner her crew went into action and made our dinner one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. If you like great food, and want to be treated special, you need to try South Bend Bistro!”

My husband got a pepperoni pizza and said it was tasty. Make sure to check their online menu because I noticed some pizza options that weren’t on the printed menu! The restaurant has a chill vibe and atmosphere but not a ton of seating, so you may want to make reservations if you’re planning to go for dinner.”

“We stayed in Sunriver the week before Christmas. There was plenty of snow for our kids to want to plan. I found Good to Go and there were lots of sleds/tubes etc to choose from. I had contacted Jon via email to see if any sled were available. He was so helped. Quickly replying to emails. Gave us directions to a snow park for sledding. It was wonderful. We had no clue what we were doing but he made out trip wonderful. The sleds were very affordable and we were able to keep them for our entire trip!”

“We went in for Mother's day, since all the other places in town had crazy long waits, and all 8 of us were so happy we took a chance. We only waited 15 mins for an 8 top to become available, and the staff was super friendly while we waited. The service was super friendly and we loved that its a family owned and operated venture, it was really cool to see the all the kids working along mom and dad. We ordered a bit of everything; the highlights were the Eggs Benedict, the French toast (made from house made bread), and the breakfast sandwich. I will say the table next to us ordered the Corned beef hash and I will be getting that next trip out here. Simple, hearty and delicious this may become our new spot for breakfast in Bend, especially being able to watch the planes and helicopters doing their thing fascinated the kiddos.”

“BEST Gluten-Free Pancakes ever!!!! And the serving size is HUGE! Wait staff have all been wonderful on every visit. Ordered a cheese omelette on one visit and it was inflated like a balloon! Never seen anything like it, but it was pretty tasty! Ordered eggs over-medium on another visit... the whites were rubbery on the outside and runny on the inside. Won't be ordering those again. But seriously... I can NOT get enough of those gluten-free pancakes!!!! Just the plain kind for us! My son tried them with chocolate chips and it was just too much. Oh! We also tried the gluten-free waffle, and they weren't bad, but we both agree........ GF pancakes for the WIN!!!”
