“Had high expectations for this place, that was my fault, durring these times we all need to lower our expectations. Got a bad vibe as soon as I walked in. Prices seemed too high, bagels looked too small. After seeing the price of their lox and bagels ($8+) I decided to buy a 1/2 dozen to-go and make my own at home. The best thing I can say and maybe the most important is that the bagels are real, good skin and chew, not some fake bread-like bagels. The everything bagels were nice even if most of the topping fell off when I cut them. 7 weeks of smoke here in Ashland has made me extra critical. Being the chimney of California is a real drag. I was going to give a 2 star review but that's just my raw emotions. We are all in this together as they keep telling us from their mansions and yachts so my honest impression is that they have real bagels here, prices are high like everywhere and we need to lower our expectations and give eachother a break.”

“Great wholesome food and homemade desserts. A great place for meat eaters and vegan alike. Nice outside seating and very clean bathrooms. 10/2022: Now offering take and bake items for home!”

“Very delicious food here! We ordered pork basil and soto ayam. Both taste authentic! Kudos to the chef Bona and Henri. We will be back if we are around Ashland for sure. Highly recommended.”

“4 stars because the baristas are gems & customer service has been good. Our drink orders have been messed up several times, usually they are correct when I order ahead on the app. This morning the batista actually recognized that my order had been put in incorrectly & verbally confirmed the correct order with me before making the drink, I really appreciated that. This location gets very busy but the baristas do their best. The cleanliness of this location definitely gets zero stars, needs some major clean up!!!”

“I am so happy Razi opened on the south end of town! I’ve had the chicken and the beef curries, and they are out-of-this-world delicious. The curry flavors are unique to anything I have ever tried before, and the meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ginger salad is amazing and filled with pops of flavor and texture. The owner/operators are the sweetest humans as well! Affordable take-out that is tasty and nourishing is lacking in this town, and Razi is a most welcome addition!”

“Really good beers here! From the infusions (loved the Hatch green chili, I'm originally from Santa Fe NM and you really captured the green chili taste we all love!) to the traditional, everything we had was great. Looking forward to our next visit. Cozy indoor seating and great views outside. Happy hour 3-5, pints, flights and pitchers included. I captured a UFO in one of my pics, proves their beer is out of this world! 🛸”

“Best Chinese food in Ashland. My favorites are the shrimp dim sum, Broccoli Chicken (wonderful amount of broccoli) and fried rice. Service is take out only right now, but food preparation is swift, delicious and still hot when I get home.”

“Stopped in for a bite of dinner upon a recommendation from the hotel clerk where I am spending the night. Good food, great friendly service, and the meal was served quickly. I had the taquitos combo meal one of my favorites and it was very tasty. The salsa is good as well.”

“Great first dine in experience waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Appetizers were perfectly cooked and portion size was more than sufficient. Our main entrees hit the spot! Flavorful and delicious. Will recommend to friends and family thank you.”

“A place this good should be more crowded for lunch! The cook definitely appreciates his art! We had the place literally to ourselves, that may explain the obvious care that went into our dishes. Exquisite. Spiced to perfection, proportional ingredients so that the flavors pop and blend, not overwhelm. The shrimp were done to perfection, crunchy and just soft enough. Just when you think food can't surprise you, it does. And ridiculously affordable.”

“Food is awesome, this is my 2nd visit. It's a little pricey for what I'm used to but out here it is what it is. You get what you pay for. It's always expensive out here compared to you back in Georgia.”

“8-19-22 update. They are getting more and more skimpy on the salad. I was afraid this would happen after the good reviews. Had to drop them one star. Kind of a cross between a cabin and a diner. Unlike any other place you will find in Ashland, very un-Ashland. We liked it and look forward to coming back for a breakfast. Ordered the fried chicken, super crispy and juicy (not easy to achieve) could have used a little more seasoning? The fries were great, especially when throw into the salad. The Chef's salad was a classic "big salad", Elaine Benes would approve. Tons of meat, throw on some French fries and you almost have a Pittsburgh salad. We had to pack most of it for home. Both the blue cheese and ranch were good. Nice service, big portions and reasonable prices.”

“The hotel itself is amazing and the cafe did not disappoint. Great selection of food. Our pizzas, salads, and desserts were all excellent. We had good drinks as well. The merchandise being sold is unique and adorable. We definitely fell in love with this place!”

“So far I have dined here twice and couldn’t be happier with the quality and service. Everything from French onion soup, fresh salads, bone marrow and the Chateaubriand itself, a VERY large and delicious steak to share with friends and family. The space has a cute and personal feeling with great mood lighting and can accommodate small and large parties. Our server, Solai was knowledgeable a helped with sauces and wine pairings. I couldn’t be happier for us and Ashland to have such a great French steakhouse.”

“This was a fantastic experience we ordered a bunch of delicious apps. Each one was as good if not better than the next we shared a wedding anniversary year bottle of wine. And still made it in time to grab wine and seats for the show! Would definitely recommend for celebrating any occasion!”

“Delectable dishes, superb service & craft signature cocktails. So romantic, one of my favorite places to dine for special occasions because the flavors are so incredible and everything is cooked and seasoned to perfection. If the weather is nice the outdoor dining area is absolutely enchanting. There’s also a lovely piano player on the weekend. I ordered the steelhead but the scallops are not to be missed.”

“Ordered the Oregon Outback Toast: Let's start with the bread, omg so earthy, and nutty. Loooove it. The pesto was delicious and the nut meat was beyond perfect. The cashew cream sauce was very unique tasted almost cheesy but without overpowering the toast. Definitely a light squeeze over the toast for added touch. So good, had to buy another one!”

“After driving through a snow storm and winding roads to get to Ashland, we were tired and starving and was ready for some comfort food. Pie + Vine didn’t disappoint. We were thrilled to see roasted artichoke on the menu. We ordered that, Mediterranean pie and a salad with grilled tuna. We couldn’t believe the size of the salad full of fresh local salad, beans, artichoke and a giant piece of grilled tuna. The Mediterranean pizza was tasty and again more fresh artichoke. Portions were big. Friendly service even though our server charged us for a whole bottle of wines instead of a glass. He apologized and corrected the bill.”

“Great place for gluten free options. Popcorn chicken buffalo flavored with siracha ranch sauce, gluten free Mac and cheese with potato chips on top, and grilled chicken tacos with cojita cheese were great!! The bbq brisket beans were also gluten free. Definitely go during happy hour between 12-4pm for their specials and the portion sizes are great too!!”

“Wow! This was an amazing meal! The place is small, but absolutely adorable and intimate, really feels of a classic Italian dinner experience. The food was outstanding, also a good wine list. Only complaint was the service was not great, but really didn't matter because the food was so good.”

“Pretty room and a more formal dining spot than usual for laidback Ashland. Good food, complex, vaguely French and New American menu with a lot of entrees with a lot of sauces. Very tasty array of greens, cheese, veggies and meats from local farms. Great service, good for date night. Yes to outdoors dining but sidewalk tables outside seemed noisy.”

“So happy we have a real Sports Bar in Ashland. When I get tired of the "boutique this" and "single origin" that and just want to watch a game, drink a cold one and eat some great food this is my spot. Taco Tuesday is pretty awesome, real beef or chicken tacos well dressed for $1! Strangely they don't have any beer specials happening at the same time as the $1 tacos 😂. The seats are not very comfortable but the TV'S are plentiful and crystal clear.”

“Hands down the best sushi place in the valley. Beyond the incredible quality of sushi you get you just can not beat the prices for the quantity you get. I got the spicy tuna combo which was three rolls for $18. That is $6 per roll & a filling combo with a delicious spicy Mayo sauce over the top. The servers are always welcoming and the sushi chef’s are incredibly fast with their preparation of your rolls. My wife and I always come here for Sushi even if it means a 36 minute drive for us the quality is just too good! Also, Monday’s they have a 20% off all of their rolls special! Can’t beat it!!!”

“Visiting out from California. Seeking some good food. Found Matino's around the corner from the Shakespeare Festival campus. The staff is very attentive, helpful and professional. The upstairs in the name is literally need to walk up the stairs, but next door is the street level restaurant location. Go up the stairs, enter into the door, the first thing you see is their full bar and their bar stools. They have inside seating as well as outside dining (roof dining). The food review: the menu selection is unique. Their menu have the titles of each category in Italian from Appetizers, Soups, Salads, main dishes, desserts and of course a separate drink menu (Alcohol, spirits, ect.). I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken (the options are just pasta, or add Chicken or Prawn . There is spaghetti and Meatballs and Lasagna. The bread served as complimentary and you mix the olive oil with Balsamic Vinegar to dip in. The red (out of Oregon) and the white wine (Italy) were a great pair between our dish selections. Had the Mud Pie and coffee for dessert. The coffee is a perfect match with the Mud Pie to top off the dinner experience. I will have to give this a deserving 5 stars rating, aside the fact that this business DOESN'T HAVE a Military Discount. The wait staff did provide a SHAKESPEARE Discount and thanked me for my Service.”
