“My name is Kathy and I am responding to a review written by David Grissom on 4-11-15. First, let me start by saying I am one of the employee's that work there and I have been employed by Greg and Michelle for almost a month now. Second, I will tell you I am 36 years old and in my entire work history I have yet to work with such down to earth and reasonable bosses. I just want to say that this "manager woman" you were so quick to put down with your judgement's, has has a long career in restaurant management before her choice to work with subway. I do believe that in all those years you would find that most of the people that had worked for her still hold her in high regard as a person of integrity and a lovable spirit. This day you speak of may have been what you call a breaking point of constantly letting these "poor employee's" continually disregard the thing's that have been asked of them.....the things they are paid to do. I understand that you may have just been writing what you think was wrong with our management but anyone who has any experience in this field would know that before you post something so harsh that maybe you should wait and take a deeper look because what she does...what they both do (the owner and the manager) is not an easy task. My opinion, for what its worth, is they both do it very well and always do their best to be respectful and kind in doing it. They both are there working right beside us, just as hard....even harder because they want this buisness to be a respectable and desirable place for the customers that come there to spend their hard earned money. Nothing wrong with that in my book and if that means they have to, sometimes, remind the employee's (whom by the way, should not have to be told a hundred times what is expected of them) a little harshly (instead of just firing them or having their customers they value so much coming into a store that is not properly kept up) Then so be it. I love working for them as most of the employee's would say. We are all sorry that you had to hear that and she would never want her customer's to hear her rep-remanding an employee but the store is small and it was even done behind a closed door. I hope this is not something that will be held against her because she is such a wonderful manager and Gary is such a wonderful owner....thank you”

“Tried out Zoom City yesterday and was impressed! I ordered the Moped Mule and my nana got a a Coors Light, and even though it did take quite a while to get our drinks my cocktail was the best cocktail I’ve had in a while. I am not a drinker and have a drink every so often and I’m glad I spent the money to get this one. It was limey and a bit sweet but not overpowering. I ordered the Thai Pizza and my nana ordered a half and half that was pepperoni and half pepperoni with olives. The crust was perfectly cooked and crispy but not burned. The Thai pizza has very fresh veggies and a delicious peanut sauce and what tasted like a hot honey. It was fantastic. My nana said her pizza was great as well. It also took a while to get our check and boxes for our pizza but luckily we were not in a rush and planned this dinner so we could spend time together. If you are in a rush and looking for a quick and fast bite, I wouldn’t not recommend. Otherwise, this place was fantastic and I will be returning!”

“My daughter loves their hot chocolate! The two gentlemen working when we went were so sweet! They bought my baby a hot chocolate and when she had to use the bathroom they let her in to use the employee only bathroom! Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because they don't have an inside. It is drive thru and walk up only.”

“This is a wonderful, healthy stop for the entire family. My son has a lot of food sensitivities, but he is able to get a couple of things here. If you like fresh juice, smoothies, banana ice cream, or a quick lunch with gluten free options, this is a great place to visit! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They also support a lot of local farmers and community projects, which I really appreciate as a local family photographer.”

“I’ve been dying for a good poke place to open up in Grants Pass and I’m so excited this one did!! I stopped in tonight for my first time and had a lovely chat with the owners while they prepared my very hearty and colorful bowl. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are delightful! I can’t wait to go back and try more combinations ☺️”

“Yumberry bowl is a drive through takeout restaurant with some very good acai fruit bowls and smoothies. I enjoy coming here on my lunch break at work occasionally but don't do it too often because it takes me too much time to get to the establishment and order. If I could order and pick up online or on the phone I would eat here more often.”

“Was SO excited to try this place out. Got the quesabirria (sp? Sorry i might be wrong about the spelling there) w/ corn tortillas and some consome, and a pork&red sauce tamale. It was all *incredible*!! The consome was amazing, the tamale was not lacking/it had plenty of filling&meat. So happy to have this place in town now. The atmosphere is great, too. All employees that helped me are super nice. 10 Stars if I could, baby 😎”

“Oh my goodness this place has AMAZING coffee! I seriously won't be stopping anywhere for coffee but here when I'm in town! The coffee shop itself is very spacious and welcoming, especially lovely on a nice warm day, as they have big doors to open up. My only nit-pick is the service was slow for getting our drinks ordered, and the employee couldn't explain one of the drinks to me because he said he hadn't made one in awhile ....everyone has those moments you can't remember something like that, but you should then proceed to find out and be sure as to what you're telling the customer rather than, "I'm not really sure, I haven't made one of those in awhile."”

“By far the best tasting and most authentic mexican food in the valley. The staff is friendly and prices are outstanding. The portion sizes are perfect. Unlike lots of other establishments that fill your plate with rice and beans. The tamales have been mentioned as "Southern Oregon's Best" and that description is accurate. I reccommend this restaurant to everyone in the area. Long time resident or just traveling through. Rosa Maria's is the best in town.”

I had the pancakes and they were so fluffy and filling I couldnt finish! The raspberries on top were so good. Will definitely be returning for lunch.”

“I'm so glad I found Hummingbird Creek Bistro while looking for somewhere to eat on our roadtrip! The photos in everyone's reviews immediately sold me, but they do not do it justice! You can relax by the beautiful flower garden, lawn, and koi pond, or next to the creek. We had a wild turkey visit us while we ate our pizzas ($10 for a 10-inch pie). The scenery alone would've made for a wonderful lunch break, but the food was absolutely delicious too! Perfectly charred crust, a balsamic drizzle, salt on the tomato slices, so much attention to detail from the wonderful ladies here. When they heard we weren't local, they even gave us a mini tour of the facilities. What a gem!”

“Three of us went to The rustic Creek bar & Pizza House in wilderville. We have been going there over many years and are always delighted with the location. This time they have a deck overlooking the creek that we were delighted to sit at. The pizza has taken a jump up with the handmade pizza dough and delicious toppings. The owner is very friendly and also very hard-working. She shared the story of owning and rehabbing the restaurant and she's made it a great destination for lunch or dinner.”
