“My friend and I are elderly women who love checking out new businesses in the neighborhood. the Jade Dumpling & Noodle House is located in a tiny store front that is tidy and clean. The menu offered a great choice of dim sum and entrees and you can dine in or order take out or have food delivered. Our waitress gave us time to decide and she was very kind to all the customers. Speaking of clients there was one young father with his toddler, several college age youngsters and two middle aged couples so this menu is attractive to a wide age group 👍. The food arrived hot and delicious and lots of it. The vegetarian dumplings were perfect and my friend was amazed the shitake/tofu filling was savory. I would go back for the dumplings all by their little selves. We also ordered the House Noodles with pork and the Sichwan spicy noodles. When we finished, our waitress brought us containers. No kidding, the servings were enough for two meals. I want to welcome Jade Dumplings & Noodles to the neighborhood.”

“I’ve been extremely ill for many months (I’ve lost over 80 lbs altogether) and literally these smoothies are keeping me alive. It’s the only thing that doesn’t cause tremendous pain and horrible symptoms to consume. Everyone at the store has been very kind to my family who pick them up for me. They consistently taste good despite it being the only thing I can eat which you would think I would be sick of by now. I’m very grateful to have something I can consume or I would be dead by now. I definitely wish they weren’t so expensive but they’re worth it to me. The people working at this store are truly great! Thank you!”

“Great dive bar vibes. I ordered the chicken cascadia, very delicious. It will get busy at night but I usually go during the day on my day off for happy hour or lunch. Great food and friendly staff. Great patio. Last note awesome art on the back the building, shows they want to have a good sense of building community for the better!! Thank you Flying squirrel crew and staff!!”

“Went here for lunch after many months of anticipating the new spot replacing Bruno's. Chose the salmon and asparagus farfalle in a vodka sauce, as well as whatever their house red was along with the complementary bread, and everything was fantastic. Not much of a critic so not sure what else to comment on, but definitely met expectations both on taste and portion, so left satisfied. Family that runs the place seems to have been in the area a while and were very friendly and enthusiastic about this venture so really want it to thrive. I look forward to trying the other options!”

“Even though it’s in the name, I didn’t think I’d have that much of a hard time finding this place! It’s tucked behind an Italian restaurant. I tried one of their pinwheels and muffins, both were amazing, especially the orange pinwheel. I was just passing through Eugene, but I’d love to come back on a future trip!!”

“Friendly people, clean space, relaxing atmosphere, and good food! Food came quickly and when it came, I was surprised at he size of the burritos. They were big. I figured no way I could finish mine. Well, I ate my entire burrito in one sitting and fries that were shared with the family. Burrito tasted fresh and flavorful. (The last (big name) place I had a burrito from I legit told my bf that there was no flavor in it at all.) We shared a side of fries. When we've eaten out recently, my kids don't eat their fries. I order them fries and they say, they didn't say they wanted them and don't eat. Both my kids demolished the fries from here. My son said multiple times while eating today that he LOVES the fries. Can't wait to try more things off the menu next time we visit.”

“Took home four bags of their kale chips, crunchy and very filling. My 18 month old son is the pickiest eater so I brought him food from home but he preferred their hummus and ate the entire hummus plate including the homemade crackers, what a nutritious lunch for my little guy. Can’t wait to come back and have their soft serve. Super friendly restaurant and kid friendly. Great background music too.”

“Always loved this Starbucks. Whenever their lobby was closed due to whatever reason, they always let my dad and I walk through the drive through to order, until one day they changed their policy without any notification and prevented us from ordering. Wasted 30 minutes of our time and left without coffee. Now need to find a new place to stop for coffee on a walk.”

“I've never been a big fan of deep dish pizza but I was at The Kind Hop tap house and saw the truck so I checked it out. This pizza was in a class all by itself. Regardless of the style this is now in my top 3 and will be my only go-to for Chicago style pizza. The pairing of the great beers at the Kind Hop and the delicious pizza from A Little Pizza made for a great Monday evening!”

“This place has good coffee. But the avocado toast is outstanding. The ricotta cheese sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning really makes it taste good. And the toast, whatever bread they use and it's thick cut, and they add an entire avocado on top. I also had them fried egg and put that on top. Excellent. Baked goods are also good, lots of variety. But the avocado toast is really the thing to get. I would come here daily. Internet access in case you need to work. Older clientele. Easy parking. Great atmosphere. Half of it is quiet and wood decor. The other half is a little more Cafe open feeling with tile and local artwork. Again, must highlight the avocado toast.”

“Yabai is now serving ramen every day! Our family had a great meal here recently. We always enjoy the Oregon Wine Lab and the Da Nang food cart that was at the Lab for so many years. Yabai is a great food cart to fill in. The ramen has a lot of different things that can be added so you can get a different flavor every time if you want. The ramen can also be made vegan! If you’re looking for hearty and nourishing hot soup this winter check out Yabai!!”

“The outdoor seating is really nice when the weather is decent. The decor is eclectic and fun. There was a band playing when I visited and lots of people. The seasonal cocktails all looked very refreshing. I like that there are usually a couple food trucks in the parking area for a really strong variety.”

“Wow! The food is great, I’m a big fan of the prosciutto and Brie sandwich! The Lazy River Pinot has a special place in my heart, but not as much as the staff does. Kelly is the absolute best server I’ve ever had! She has an incredible way of elevating your dining experience, making it personal and so very enjoyable. Recommending the lounge to everyone and anyone who loves great wine, food, and company!”

“I have gotten breakfast here a few times now! The bagel breakfast sandwich is bomb.com. The last 2 days i have been in a rush and ordered the breakfast burrito. It was delicious! Brandi did an outstanding job making them, and her customer service is on point. I was able to call my order in and it was in the warmer when i arrived. I highly recommend and will be going back! Thank you Carrie.”

“We had an amazing first time here!! The sweet lady let us know she would treat us right when we ordered our cheeseburgers, and boy did she! Our burgers were both absolutely delicious, the sauce and cheese on the burger was excellent and the fries + fry sauce were expertly seasoned! Seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had! Keep up the great work everyone!”

“New owner has done a great job refreshing the interior, as well as offering delicious locally roasted coffee (Farmers Union). Staff is friendly and bagels were fantastic. I had bagels and lox and really loved it. My kids like the chocolate and blueberry bagels. They offer several breakfast and sandwich options. The space is also kid friendly, including kid play table and toys. Bathrooms were very clean. Well done!”

“The burger is definitely little, but it was good and I was full at the end. I think it is worth the wait, but please note that the burgers are made to order and take ten to fifteen minutes. I hope you are not in a hurry, though.”

“Ok, I haven't tried this place yet, but had tons of questions because of it's location and being the old Turtles building. As Turtles was a long loved deeply rooted favorite of many including us and out kids. (They regularly say that they miss it) We're excited about a business reopening in this location. When I reached out with questions I was responded to promptly and with enthusiasm hence the five star review of a place I haven't but am excited to try. Looking forward to the soft opening in June!”
