“For the region this Place has great BBQ. I'm originally from Central Texas and this place is close to that style with slow smoking their meats. The sauce is very watered down unfortunately so it doesn't stick to the meat when you want to use it. I would stop again if I was passing through but would not go out of my way to go back.”

“Went skiing at Willamette Pass. I was feeling hungry on the way back and stop at Miguel's Tacos. Had two of the best beef tacos I've ever had. SO GOOD. I can't wait to come back again. Also open later than some other options on HWY 58, so definitely a good option for skiers visiting WP or Bachelor, or mountain bikers after a long ride.”

“I’ve been to the restaurant part before and it is great, burgers taste really good, however the coffee counter wasn’t what I expected. The barista wasn’t really inviting, when we arrived she was on her phone and didn’t bother to say hi. The iced mocha did not taste good, it tasted like water more than anything. It must’ve been an off day but definitely expected more. Gave it 4 stars because I don’t want my alright experience at the coffee counter affect the good service that I’ve received before at the restaurant portion.”

“If you are ever driving through Oakridge an you are looking for something to eat then checkout Stewart’s 58 Drive-In! You can’t go wrong. The food is great an the service is friendly! I ordered the Bacon-cheese burger with fries. The bun was fresh, the toppings were top quality an the hamburgers patty was good an cooked correctly. I didn’t get the malts, but we they looked great. Inside seating is limited an so are the hours. Included in my photos are the current operating hours. Note they are closed Monday & Tuesday an on those days they are open, they close at 3pm!”

“We live in a small town, so I was skeptical of how good this new sushi restaurant could be. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to say San Sushi is fantastic. In fact, it is now in my top three eateries in town. The customer service was responsive and friendly. The food was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean, which is important for an establishment that sells raw fish. I’ve already made plans to go back and try their “cooked” options. What a great addition to our little hamlet. I was going to take a photo to show how nice the roll was prepared… but I ate it. Next time!”

“Stopped by on our way back from camping, and the food was amazing! I got a giant burger with a fried egg and bacon, and my buddy had a Philly cheese steak, which he said was the best he's had West of the Mississippi. The owner was friendly and funny, too. “I'm guessing this is a family owned food truck. This family had friendly service. They even checked with us after we got our food to see if we liked what we ordered. I gave them five stars not only for their friendliness but for their delicious food. My husband had a double cheeseburger basket and I had a cheeseburger basket. They're fries were crispy and had lots of flavor. They're hamburgers or mouth watering. Needless to say I ate all my food and fell very fat afterwards. That's a compliment by the way. 😂”

“This is such a sweet wholesome local spot! The food is amazing and the beers are delicious. Fresh local cask beers - not much can beat that. I had a burger it was delicious. Got the mushroom onion Swiss. My friend had the roasted veggie sandwich with a gluten free bun and also enjoyed it. The sweet potato fries are not to be missed! We stopped in on a Thursday night and there was live music. Everything from the food to the music to the service was delightful. We also played a round of billiards which was good fun.”

“New owner has done a great job refreshing the interior, as well as offering delicious locally roasted coffee (Farmers Union). Staff is friendly and bagels were fantastic. I had bagels and lox and really loved it. My kids like the chocolate and blueberry bagels. They offer several breakfast and sandwich options. “I was so impressed with the improvements at Darlings that I asked my wife if we could spend our week long anniversary adventure there, and we decided we would. Unfortunately mother nature had other plans. The wind blew so hard it almost ripped our awning off before I could reel it in. We spent the evening instead in the beautiful restaurant they have there. The food was absolutely amazing. Tri tip, Brisket, and the best beans we've had in a while. You can sit and eat your meal either indoor or outdoor with gas fired warming tables. Every site has an amazing view of the lake. They also had supplies right at the resort so we really didn't even need to run to town. Lastly the owner, his staff, and everyone who works there were so helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make our "rain soaked" vacation the best possible. We will be back for sure! Even locals in town commented on how great the food and hospitality is there. Thank you Darlings... see you soon...”

As Turtles was a long loved deeply rooted favorite of many including us and out kids. (They regularly say that they miss it) We're excited about a business reopening in this location.
