“My wife and I were excited for the new possibilities here! The chickpea salad sandwich was absolutely amazing; fresh tasting and lovingly put together on a great cibatta roll that held everything together without getting soggy. The house burger was outstanding as well, a pretzel bun was chosen for that one. The onion jam and special sauce generated audible groans of pleasure especially. My wife isn't a slaw eater but completely finished the side slaw! Everything was too darn good.”

“The service was very good. It was strange to eat in a restaurant without having a mask again. My wife had a half order of eggs benedict and she liked it. I had a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with tots. The tots were hard and crunchy which would have been okay. But they also seemed very slick with oil. I'm not sure what kind of oil they use but it didn't taste or feel right to me. It wasn't that it had a bad taste. It had no taste and was very slippery. I could only eat about half my order. They had sports playing on TV monitors. We are not fans and would prefer not to be subjected to it while eating. My wife was facing two monitors and found them hard to ignore.”

“It's a cool hole in the wall vintage diner decorated with antiques, mainly old plane and gas memorabilia. Apparently the building used to be a gas station so they kept that history alive with the decor. Me and my mom both got the ham and cheese stuffed French toast with an egg on top and it was DELICIOUS!! The french toast was very thick bread and the ham was smoked carved ham, not cold cut meat. Eggs were perfectly cooked. And it came with a side of hollandaise that was so good. Served with a small side of fruit, and it was only $10.50!! I'll definitely go back when I go back to visit Springfield!”

“Thank you for being open past 9 PM on a Thursday! Stopped by and grabbed some delicious tacos. The green sauce is the best I have ever tasted. I’m going to go back to see if I can buy a big thing of it to have in the fridge. Super nice guys, and I highly recommend!”

“New in town, so, I've been looking for good spots and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place. It was some of the crispiest, juiciest, and overall best tasting pieces of chicken I've had in a while. The people that work there were incredibly friendly and just really cool. It made for a nice atmosphere. You can tell there's a lot of care and passion into the food and business itself. It's a great shop I'll definitely be frequenting.”

“This food truck is amazing and has some of the best food in Eugene period! I was visiting from Minnesota and I honestly ate here each day I was in town in order to try something new. The “porker” sandwich is one of the most unique and best tasting sandwiches I have ever had (savory pork with sweet apricot chutney—so, so good). The fried chicken sandwich is the perfect level of spicy, and the added veggies make it refreshing too. And the regular old cheeseburger just hits the spot. The chef is super friendly too. Pick up a beverage from the 7-11 across the street and then eat your food at one of the little tables—it will be one of the best meals you’ve had.”

“Food and drinks are presented well and very tasty. The Gin and Juice is my favorite. Our server Kris was the best, go see him! He made the whole experience fun and interactive. It is very busy so I definitely recommend reservations!”

“We stopped in around 6pm on a Friday night. We were able to order at the counter quickly, where the guy taking our order was beyond friendly and funny! They'd just gotten a new point of sale system and were working out some minor kinks, but it wasn't a big deal as they communicated the issue and kept an upbeat attitude about it. We got the chicken press and tri tip press. Both were delicious. I got the drink special, which was also very good. Food came out quickly and without issue. My partner and I agreed we'll be back for the beer soon. Great addition to downtown!”

“I feel so lucky we have Bali Kitchen —traditional Indonesian food right here in Eugene! I usually get a noodle dish with veggies and an egg. I find that at some places the noodles can be too greasy, but here it is not so, the noodles are cooked perfectly with plenty of flavor. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the creation and preparation of the food. Overall, highly recommend.”

“Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks are well poured and reasonably priced. Food is decent bar fare that sometimes ranges into excellent (it's inconsistent, but always at least good). The environment is 75% sports bar/25% dive bar. Clientele runs a range from business people to street folk. In particular, Jakob is both the best bartender here, but is also one of the more personable folk I've met in the industry. Update: Doc's had transitioned from a sports/dive bar into a sports bar/pub. They have changed and updated the decor greatly (a vast improvement, in truth), but in honesty the clientele hasn't changed much, the only significant difference is that they pay more for their drinks now. The staff has mostly changed as well, but the current staff still maintains the quality pour and personable nature that helps to maintain a regular customer base (Lisa and Holly are both fantastic humans). The menu is more limited, but I haven't actually had a bad meal in recent months. These cooks know their business. Full disclosure, I am a daytime patron and cannot much speak to the night and weekend conditions.”

“They showed a large amount of chicken for their chicken dish and then proceeded to give me half of what was shown in the picture. The food was decent and way too lemony”

“The non-profit I worked for hosted a small poetry reading for the community last week at this venue and it went PERFECTLY - talk about an ideal venue for the event! The covered patio was big enough for the event, but not overwhelming, and we stayed completely warm and dry despite some showers during the event. The drinks were TOP notch and I enjoyed the food and the variety of items for purchase on the menu. I would definitely recommend to others!”
