“This is a great little neighborhood restaurant. Tucked off of Commercial with entrance really on Browning, it probably doesn't get the attention that it deserves. We'd talked for some time about going here and finally did tonight. We were not disappointed. Very cute interior filled with greenery, lanterns and orchids. Lots of natural light which made the dining room very inviting. Limited menu but the items are really delicious. Very generous portions. Prices were reasonable if not a little high but the quality and the freshness of the food was worth it. Definitely need to check it out.”

“This is a great coffee shop to go to for a caffeine fix and/or snack! Their french press coffee is excellent, as their name would suggest and there's plenty to eat from snacks to light meals. Good price, in my opinion. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and it's not too expensive, and very worth it. Great first date spot, and also a good place to go for some alone time! I love to sit in the corner and drink coffee and be alone! And for us night owls, they're opened a little later than the average coffee shop in the area.”

“This was our first visit and it was quite good. I'm glad that there was a child protection waiver to sign letting you know these people really take their business seriously. My son loved the time we spent here today. We left with him making several new friends and reconnecting with some from clubhouse adventures, a former indoor park that he loved. While he played I was able to purchase a hot beverage, catch the end of the Seahawks game, and chat with a few familiar faces. All and all this place has a great atmosphere.”

“Came in just as they were opening for dinner, and what a perfect time to dine here. Started off with drinks and the lamb sliders. Great bartender, friendly and amazing service. Had to go with the classic cooked medium rare, tender and to perfection. Topped it off with dessert and a Irish coffee. Will definitely be back.”

“Wandering through Salem after dark, first time in the city. Late enough that choices had become quite limited. Happened by Taproom. "This looks pretty good". Wow. Artsy students crowd. Very interesting. Original art on the walls and the booths (!) Food was well above average. And if, when you go to heaven and have to tell St Peter that you didn't eat a Taproom taco when you had the chance, he'll likely say "What on earth were you thinking?"”

“I came here tonight with two friends. The atmosphere was really cute and had a really nice flow to it. We walked up to the register to order, I got the spicy Mac and cheese, my friend got the plain Mac and cheese, my other friend got a mushroom blue cheese burger, and we ordered an appetizer of spicy tots. The wait wasn’t bad at all, our food arrived about 5-10 minutes after we ordered. Although the food wasn’t bad, it wasn’t super great either. My spicy mac was spicy, but had very little flavor. I feel like it definitely needed some thing. One of my friends said the same thing about her plain mac, saying that she thought it lacked salt. My other friend said his burger had great buns, and sauce, but again said it lacked seasoning. However, the spicy tots were amazing and I would definitely come back just for those.”

Also night shift should be more professional, and at least offer some kind compensation and apology for extremely slow drive times. I'm understanding if they are accommodating ya know? “Need to work on staff training, has a few good employees trying to do everything. Demographics of the parking lot are less than desirable, as it is a homeless and druggy hangout. This is a must lock your car and hide your valuables spot at night. Ashame the owner is not more proactive to clean this place up.”
