“Had breakfast here and the biscuits and gravy were absolutely scrumptious. The biscuits were fluffy and moist. The bacon was crisp and not too salty. And our server Jackie was so friendly and helpful(so was the other server Blake) despite being swamped. They worked as a team to make sure everyone had their order and was satisfied. I would give the servers 10 stars if I could!”

“This place is amazing! Great parking, easy to turn into and get out off. The atmosphere is intimate but fun at the same time. It's a bit like Cheers! Hang around on a Monday night for trivia, it's a hoot. The food is great. Many options for those that have dietary needs or specialties. “Came here for comedy, and stayed for the drinks. Just kidding, stayed for both and I can confirm - both were awesome! I have to recommend the fries dipped in blue cheese, but my drunk husband loved his burger... and honestly, it smelled great. The staff is phenomenal and I can't say enough great things about them. Absolutely, a go to whether you're visiting or a Salem local.”

“Wandering through Salem after dark, first time in the city. Late enough that choices had become quite limited. Happened by Taproom. "This looks pretty good". Wow. Artsy students crowd. Very interesting. Original art on the walls and the booths (!) Food was well above average. And if, when you go to heaven and have to tell St Peter that you didn't eat a Taproom taco when you had the chance, he'll likely say "What on earth were you thinking?"”

“We had not eaten here for about 5 years. It was as great ad ever! It was bought by one of the waitresses who only improved on the home cooked meals. They use their own recipes not prepared food and it's very good. Chicken fried steak that's too big for the plate, hashbrowns from mashed potatoes, real homemade gravy, top notch in my book. My wife could only eat about 1/4 of what she got. Prices are reasonable. We both ate for less than $30. A 12 oz. Rib Eye was on the menu for about $22. The atmosphere is nice with a car based theme and the staff were great!”
