I got the spicy tuna combo which was three rolls for $18. That is $6 per roll & a filling combo with a delicious spicy Mayo sauce over the top. The servers are always welcoming and the sushi chef’s are incredibly fast with their preparation of your rolls. My wife and I always come here for Sushi even if it means a 36 minute drive for us the quality is just too good! Also, Monday’s they have a 20% off all of their rolls special! Can’t beat it!!!”

“Stopped here on a Thursday night on a whim. We ordered Deep Fried Calamari (HUGE PORTION for two), Grilled Shrimp with a cup of Clam Chowder and the Rockfish Tacos special. Add the mango salsa too. Nothing was greasy. Everything was fresh and light. The CHOWDER was the best I have ever had. 10/10. The staff was great! Savannah was our waitress. We will return!”

We were not very hungry so we ordered only one dish to share. We had the ribeye steak, which they recommended. The meat was tender and the salad was very reasonable for $32. “A friend and I were on a road trip last week, and came upon The Chalet after visiting Crater Lake the evening of 7-1-22. Inside the establishment is very cool & old school. Our server was awesome, checked on us often, & kept my coffee topped off. I had a salad & the homemade clam chowder, which was, I dare say, the best clam chowder I've had in a very, very long time! The poppers, yes, the poppers are superb with a toss of pork rinds on top for a nice crunch. Request the bacon jam -- a homemade concoction that serves as a side. Fish tacos (cod or ahi) not to be missed. The white cheddar burger and side of sweet potato fries was excellent with crisp bacon. The photos scream yummist on all we ordered. The front is a small restaurant-- the back a hidden bar. I suggest you walk the town and view the buildings architectural features and be sure to turn the corners.”

“We’ve been going here for close to 20 years. It has history and survived the 2008 down turn where most did not. Met here for a business lunch. Service was great. Our waitress was attentive with a friendly smile. Two of us had the Alaska Center cut Cod. It was a pleasant take on fish and chips served with 1 large Cod filet. Best tasting Cod that I’ve had and I grew up in Alaska The others had pulled pork sandwiches and 1 ordered a steak salad with fresh cooked steak medium rare. It was all very good We will be back.”

“Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks are well poured and reasonably priced. Food is decent bar fare that sometimes ranges into excellent (it's inconsistent, but always at least good). The environment is 75% sports bar/25% dive bar. Clientele runs a range from business people to street folk. In particular, Jakob is both the best bartender here, but is also one of the more personable folk I've met in the industry. Update: Doc's had transitioned from a sports/dive bar into a sports bar/pub. They have changed and updated the decor greatly (a vast improvement, in truth), but in honesty the clientele hasn't changed much, the only significant difference is that they pay more for their drinks now. The staff has mostly changed as well, but the current staff still maintains the quality pour and personable nature that helps to maintain a regular customer base (Lisa and Holly are both fantastic humans). The menu is more limited, but I haven't actually had a bad meal in recent months. These cooks know their business. Full disclosure, I am a daytime patron and cannot much speak to the night and weekend conditions.”
