I also don't like the new flavor station set up. In order to get flavors, you have to reach through the creamers. Sometimes, the flavors and honey spill onto the creamer containers, making them very sticky.”

Tamed with the cool smokey crunch of arguably Salem's finest coleslaw. Completely competent, with none of the pizzazz sauces many other burger shops strive to bedazzle on a patty. It's just enough. You know it's there, but the main shows is the beef and that's why you're here. They offer three selections of hamburger: a quarter pound, a third of a pound, and a half a pound. There's also a surprising number of fish sandwich options. It's a little off the highway, and if you blink you could miss it. Looking for a throwback to a time when a bag of tater tots and a straightforward burger were all you would expect to get from a little shop with a payphone out front? Then why not give them a try?”

“This is my go to place for coffee. I always use the mobile app. And service is normally excellent and fast. Today I arrived and was given my food order. I then waited 15 minutes for my first drink. After another 10 minutes of waiting, I left without my second drink. By then my food was cold and I had to go elsewhere for my coffee. Had the worker at the window been remotely friendly I would have continued to wait. Todays experience was 1 star but I've rated the place 3 stars based on prior experience.”

“Amazing place with amazing food and staff! I've gone a few times already and every single time, I was greeted as I walked in. Service is always fast and the guys are super friendly with everyone. Their food tastes awesome and super fresh. I always get a tostada bowl with carne asada because who doesn't want an edible bowl?! I also like that they carry the cola machine that dispenses a lot of different drinks. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they offer dine-out or carry-out. They just ask that you wear a mask when entering their restaurant, which is a standard for most places. Other than that, I will be back and I will continue taking my friends and family here!”

“Best burger in Salem, great selection of sauces and fast service with good enthusiasm. Seating is a little cramped though that is more the nature of the location. Hopefully they can find a slightly larger space downtown at some point. Lunch special is an excellent value, half sides are great for 2-3 people, full sides are enough for maybe 4-5 on average. Tots here are very unique and my favorite around town, fries are fairly standard, not a fan of the sweet potato fries here. Also they have an incredible happy hour menu.”

“Holy cow- if you want comfort food, this is it! So far I have tried the gumbo (YUM) and the mac and cheese. Both are delicious and big, hearty servings. There are also some really unique sodas called Swamp Pops with flavors I have never heard of, like Praline Cream Soda. DELISH. My next thing I would like to try is the cajun roasted marrow bones with a bone marrow luge. There is only one other place in Salem that has ever served marrow that I know of! I wish I had pictures, but since I got it to go the pictures just did not do any justice, especially to the mac and cheese. If you want to try something truly unique and different here in Salem I highly recommend Gumbo YaYa!”
