“So yummy. They have donated 10% of every order since 2017 totaling $21+k to various organizations. So amazing. They even gave me tips on how to create a donation plan for my own business.”

“I’m visiting from Jersey during the pandemic. North Jersey is also a foodie place so I know good food. While it is difficult to find an informal comfortable place to eat near my hotel J Cafe is a pleasant surprise. I ate there 3 times. The food is fresh and delicious. I believe the person who served me was the owner who was very friendly and provided great service. I ate at one of their outdoor tables in beautiful weather.”

“I go to this Starbucks location quite often and think that most of the people who work there are amazing. Avalon makes you feel welcome the moment that you step into the place. He always makes sure that your drink is correct and if he sees someone not making it correctly he steps in and tells them what to do. He always makes my experience there great. He keeps things moving when they are busy. The reason I am giving this location 4 stars is because on a few occasions when some newer folks or people I had never seen before were there it took forever to get my drink. I don't mind a wait when there are tons of people there, but it shouldn't take 10 minutes for someone to take my order when there are only two people ahead of me. I felt bad for the poor girl who was trying to do the register and heat food. The person who finally did take my order seemed like she didn't want to be bothered. Only had a few bad experiences, but people like Avalon, Dan, Chelsea, and others keep me going back. And I want to say good job to newcomer Sydney, think she spells it differently. She made a great Smoked Butterscotch Frapp.”

“Had a cake made here for my daughter's birthday. The cake was moist with great frosting. Best non gluten baked item I've had so far. I would pick this cake again over other gluten options. Looking forward to our next order.”

“Tiny's a great, neighborhood café. An excellent place for a local meet in the mornings, they have outdoor seating as well. In addition to coffee they also offer a variety of teas, bagels, cookies, other pastries, and a menu as well for more substantial food fare. The workers all seem to have quite amenable and friendly personalities.”

“The breakfast burrito absolutely never dissapoints, rich flavours, fulfilling and at a good price for what it has to offer. The coffee, absolutely amazing! Not every bartender knows how to make that perfect creamy almond milk cappucinno, but very very rarely it happened not to hit the spot, and that it was the reason i was keep coming back. That, and the great staff along with the amazing service offered.”

“I was looking for a quick coffee and breakfast in a convenient location and Nana’s Corner came up. Parking was easy at 11am on a Tuesday. Located inside the Killingsworth Station is food carts there’s a covered table to sit and wait for your order. I got the breakfast sandwich Bagel Bomb with sausage and it was great. Just how I like a fried egg on a sandwich. It really hit the spot. I got a cappuccino without any added flavoring. The service is great and I picked up a punch card. I recommended stopping by since it’s an easy detour.”

“Great food! Now one doesn't have to travel over to Southeast to get a good banh mi. My favorite thing though? An order of sesame balls for $5.00! It's a beautiful thing. Stand Banh Mi is located in the Park the Carts pod adjacent to the MLK & Holland bus stop (Buses 6, 75) and the cart is in the corner near the wall of energy meters.”

“The Pumpkin Patch is a GREAT place to visit on your own, or bring the entire family. It somehow feels like home. There is a farm store that sells amazingly great produce that's all grown on Sauvie Island, they have frozen grass-fed beef products raised on the island, a great gift shop, a tiny zoo, and during the holiday season, a huge corn "maize" (maze), and places to get lots of seasonal treats (corn on the cob, fresh-made kettle corn, elephant ears, etc.), as well as the usual pumpkin patches, hayrides, etc. There's also a dining area that's open the entire time the Pumpkin Patch is open (early Summer through Fall) that offers great food and refreshments at very low prices. Parking at The Pumpkin Patch does not require a Sauvie Island parking permit, which is a nice touch.”

“Easily this is one of the better places to shop and E in the city of Portland. I have been visiting this place since it opened and the food carts are always top notch. The owners of the meat store and the market are amazing. The way that the owners are trying to bring about cultural knowledge of Hispanics. It is a vibrant place to visit with delicious food from all Latin-American cultures. My favorite taco places are the blue one on the end and the yellow 1 on the other end. Definitely give this place a visit.”

“I come here for dessert at least once a month. There's a great variety but the raspberry gateau is to die for! Dense, dark chocolate and light fresh raspberries. I've tried a few other cakes that are delicious as well! Tiny little place in southeast, but worth it for the ambiance and dessert. Or order to go! But definitely check out the cake/ dessert display when you're in there!”

“So delicious! All the bubble tea is vegan and made with coconut milk. The tea is so creamy and full of flavor. I got the honey lavender and my husband got the original milk tea. Both with boba and both were amazing. There is a ton of seating and the environment is great with plants and cool lights. This is our new favorite bubble tea place, and we will definitely be returning.”

“Bob's Red Mill oatmeal for $1.75 ???? every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after the gym. You will not find a better price on steel cut oatmeal anywhere - even the Red Mill Cafe in Milwaukie. And the breakfast sandwiches hand made with care by Ronnie are great. ????”

“I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while, but with everything shut down, that seemed impossible. But then I thought of them for the perfect picnic fare and I was not disappointed! Online ordering is super easy, and pick up is safe as can be. Feels good to support small and local in these times. The tea sandwiches are both delicious and darling, the scones are top notch, and to-go orders are thoughtfully packed, including moistened towels to keep sandwiches moist. Can’t wait to come back and check out the darling dining area.”

“Great breakfast. Nice people. Drip coffee was a bit bitter for my taste, but the matcha latte was great! ???? Indoor and outdoor seating, including bar seating inside by the window. Not much of a view, but nice on a cold or rainy day.”

“Great lunch/brunch spot. Restaurant is small and a bit loud, but very homey feel. I ordered the danish pancakes, hot dog, and daily soup which was split pea and bacon. The danish pancakes were fluffy and delicious! The hot dog tasted good, but it was very messy to eat which was frustrating. There were also too many pickled vegetables- they were very overpowering and also not listed in the ingredients on the menu. The soup was delicious and hearty with just the right amount of carrots and bacon.”
