“My first time coming to Jenni’s and I am already in love. Cozy vibes, amazing (house made?!) baked goodies, delicious espresso. All very reasonably priced. This place feels more than a coffee shop, it feels like it’s Jenni’s home and she’s having you over for breakfast. Thank you for being around and best of luck through these tough times. I’ll be coming back for pistachio bread as long as I can!!!”

“4.5 stars would be better. Service was very good, natural and friendly without being in your face or overbearing. Potatoes were uniquely done, it wasn't really a favorite for me, but could be for many people esp looking for something new and innovative. Poached egg was nicely done and hollandaise was very nice. The location and charm really push it over the top. It's cool, without being up its own backside and try-hard thirsty.”

“Everything about this place is sensational. A small alley from the main street brings you to a little spot of wonders. Fantastic vibes abound, from the design to the incredibly friendly staff. Across 5 items we had, there wasn’t a down item. The menu is fresh and exciting, and you can taste the quality. Round it out with great wine and an exciting bar program and you’ve found your new favorite date night spot”

“I have very fond memories of Fat City from my teenage years but haven't been in for a long time. I took my partner in today because he hasn't had a decent diner pancake in years and I just gave to say Fat City is just as good as it has ever been! Tom was our server and he was fantastic. We'll be visiting much more from now on!”

“Good place to grab a refreshing drink when you are in the area. I liked the lychee green tea with grass jelly (ask for minimal sweet and ice). The drink definitely does the trick after eating something heavy. Service was quick and friendly.”

“Ridiculously good. The lamb burger was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Gratin potatoes had a nice crunchy element for texture on top of the richness. Even the pickles were great! You really get the dill. It's order at the counter and then sit down style. It gets busy quickly so going early is a good plan.”

“Hey beautiful starbucks peeps! You’re all awesome! I appreciate You! I just Have a soft request- can we not put egg bites in to-go soup containers? It retains too much moisture and my egg bites end up looking and tasting like they were recovered from a shipwreck🛳 💦 keep being awesome! ❤️❤️”

“Coffee shops have become such an essential Keystone of the culture. I mean, I remember back when a cup of coffee was something (usually pretty dank) that you got at the local diner for next to nothing, more of a fast and dirty street drug than a fulfilling experience. This shows my age, but when modern coffee shops came on the scene, I thought it was a passing fad. Don't invest in my prophetic abilities. In fact, I was living in Japan when the phenomenon started and I thought, Man! What a weird idea. Fast forward to the nearly ubiquitous community gathering places that dot our towns like like freckles on on a redhead and that brings me to Coffee Beer. They are vegan and I didn't notice which is a huge point in their favor. I honor and respect people that tread that particular path, but I'd rather slack myself in the face with a porcupine than try and live a vegan lifestyle. Well Played Coffee Beer! Insidious... So the drinks were good, the place was welcoming, the weather was just right, and the company was a treasure. We came from out of the area for a very special meeting and chose Coffee Beer out of the hat based on its reviews. It was an important meeting that meant a lot to us and having a safe and welcoming place was so important. The meeting went well, we never felt pressure to buy more or move on, the vibes were good. So funny that coffee shops have become such hubs of their communities, such universal havens. Thank you Coffee Beer for recognizing that and making the experience just right. Maybe we should pass a law that instead of churches being the traditional sanctuaries they could be coffee shops.”

“I stumbled upon Pájaro a few weeks ago, and it’s become my favorite coffee spot. Besides the fact that the lattes (made with homemade nut milks) are delicious, Rogelio is super friendly and always good for conversation. Plus, everything is done with sustainability in mind. Stop by and you might discover that a vegan latte is your new favorite!”

“Nearly all of the reviews about this hidden gem indicate that this is not an ideal place to go. As of this morning, 15 April 2021, I can tell you that THIS IS NOT THE CASE!! The menu selection is just what you need for a quick bite of food. I had an English muffin breakfast sandwich (made to order) and some fresh fruit, along side a sugar-free Redbull. Coffee, cappuccino, espresso etc are available and soft drinks are plentiful. This cafe is not a huge establishment so seating is not available do to stupid Covid, but hauling your items back to the hotel is easy and quick. There is also the river to watch as you eat your food and drink your coffee. I watched the Portland weather report while I waited for my turn in line. I'm at the hotel next door (Rivers Edge) and just passing through. You should definitely check this place out. It is always good to support the little guy, especially now during these 'uncertain' times. To the owner: Thank you very much for the excellent experience! I'll see you in May, when I pass through again!”

“Don’t let the location make you think this is hospital cafeteria food. Avocado toast was some of the best I’ve had ever. Breakfast burrito is good and surprisingly their coffees are really good. High-qual espresso. Good service. Quick. And decent prices.”

“I'm a real donut lover. I seen it new donut locations wherever I have the chance. I was thrilled to find another donut establishment. I must say when I first walked in I wasn't sure what to expect from the quality of their donuts because they didn't have a big selection like I was expecting. They were only about a dozen choices maybe. For as big as the building is you would really think they would have more choices. I was more than pleasantly surprised when I tried a tropical delight donut because it was one of the best donuts I've ever tried. There were so many flavors packed into this one diamond donut. A lot of their donuts have alcohol in them which I have also never tried. The apple cider fritter was okay but something I probably won't be trying again. That tropical delight on the other hand is something I would drive miles out of my way to get another one of. Oh and a quick heads up, the donuts costs about $12...I know, but seriously try the tropical delight.”

“It's take and go. Mostly people shuffling in line to order, take and go. There is one front counter person that is impressive- she worked heard to remember my coworkers, me, our preferred drinks, AND names. Very impressed! Makes us keep going back and appreciated. The downside is the cost.”
