I'd tried plenty of places in town that had been decent but not up to my expectations, but the food at Hello India was excellent. The portions were generous, but I just wanted to keep eating. “Big fat crepes with lots of fillings! You can make custom ones and the folk are really nice about dietary restrictions. The hotdogs are pretty tasty and the drinks are delicious. I'm so used to crepes having enough fillings for maybe two or three bites but these are chock full. The place is really nice and clean as well! I would really recommend for good crepes”

Again I order Rainbow bowl, it seems like the second time was made by a different person, but the quality is consistent! We also got the crispy rice with spicy tuna ($8) - SO GOOD!! The portion is generous as well. I wish I could leave two 5 star reviews for this little gem!! First review: Probably one of the best poke bowl I’ve ever had! Over the rainbow bowl has a lot of crab salad and a small scoop of avocado for $13. Fish and the greens are fresh too. I’d love to come back!”

“Outstanding service and cleanliness! I just purchased two footlongs for $10 at the PSU Subway around 7:30 PM on Monday 6/29/2020 - Mike was the employee working. It had been 4 months since I walked into any restaurant. When I walked in, the place was so clean, I could have sworn I was walking into a surgical office that served sandwiches. Obviously, they have their sanitization under control - since Mike was working - Kudo’s Mike! Also, Mike had a great attitude, which makes opening up after mass closing that much better. Thanks Mike! As a level 8 Google guide, I highly recommend this place, for its clinically clean environment, and the lone employee serving up subs on a lonely quiet Monday. Good work. Oh, I forgot, prior to making my sandwich, Mike must have washed his hands at least over a minute while asking me about my order.”

“The best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. I had the halibut fish and chips and everything was just simply perfect. I've never written a review before, but the food was so good I felt the need to do this. First, and most importantly: the fish. Such a simple batter, but so well salted. It held up to the squeeze of lemon which provided such a nice brightness to everything. The chips on the side are nice thin fries and honestly good enough to have on their own. If you end up ordering food from another cart, I would order fries from here, just due to the fact that they're so much better than what's offered at some of the other carts nearby. My order also came with a side of tartar sauce and a light slaw. The sauce added the right amount of richness to the fish and the slaw a wonderful balance to the whole meal. If you're worried about eating out due to the state of the world or the coming cold season, their food can be ordered through delivery services. I had thought for a while I simply just wasn't enjoying fish and chips anymore, but this place renewed my love for the classics. This is just great ingredients standing on their own, and wonderful and warm people that believe in their food.”

“Stopped in on a whim in serious need of fuel. Ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee. It's full flavored, strong coffee, not overly sweet. Delicious and high in caffeine. I'm feeling energized now. Ordered the lemongrass beef rolls. They are a nice size for a smaller lunch, flavorful, fresh, and good! When can I come back and finish with something sweet from those gentlemen at rocket? The chicken was super crispy and juicy, coleslaw rounded it out with creamy and extra crunch. Bread was really good. Waffle fries were crispy and yummy seasoned breading. Food came out quickly and hot. Overall a great experience and I will definitely plan to visit again!”

While it is difficult to find an informal comfortable place to eat near my hotel J Cafe is a pleasant surprise. I ate there 3 times. The food is fresh and delicious. We arrived soon before closing and had our to-go order at outside tables. We had an excellent Gaxuxa Pistol and the Urudaburger. Both were excellent. We shared the blBurnt Basque Cheesecake which was superb.”
