“Great neighborhood bar. The food is above what you would expect from the rather simple exterior, the drinks are good, and reasonably priced, and the service is always on top of it. My wife and I routinely frequent pub 181. They are open early for breakfast, and have rotating specials that are actually something you would like to try. It is an unpretentious pool bar that ticks all of the boxes. I would definitely recommend you try it.”

“I absolutely love this place. The food is always delicious and filling. The owner is friendly and knows how to make flavorful food in a fun way. We have been going to her since she opened. I have food allergies and she is always cautious to make sure what I’m getting is safe. To to it off, I wanted her food for Mother’s Day. Not only did she let us wait in our car, she surprised me with a Mother’s Day treat that she knew I could actually eat and enjoy!”

“We LOVED the bright and mysterious Not Harvey Wallbanger cocktail and the pepperoni pizza was SO good. After sampling lots from the menu, I would return over and over for these. The crust here is divine - the perfect amount of chew and crisp - so you won’t be disappointed if you branch out. Our waitress was patient with our group and she had an overall kind vibe. The service definitely lived up to the 20% included. The owner/executive chef, Joshua McFadden, has written some amazing cookbooks that are worth a read and I love the concept of Ava Gene’s and Cicoria. Cheers!”

“My wife and I and another couple tried The Woodsman Tavern yesterday. We sampled a good variety of the Happy Hour offerings including the raw oysters, a shrimp cocktail, wedge salad and smash burger. The burger especially was outstanding with their own sauce and just the right amount of crispness. Save room for dessert - the unique Stinging Nettle Cake and Baked Alaska were fantastic. The Snackers were like a very high-end Snickers bar. Good service. Highly recommend.”

I’m very happy, impressed, and satisfied with the Special Sausage Egg Combo dish and Peach Tea drink this evening. Really love the generous portion in the box, the meat is so tender and so flavorful and the side veggie, pickle is so fresh. This dish is very common and can be found at any Vietnamese restaurant, but this place is definitely a step above. Recommended!”
