“New owners here, ordered pizza and soft drinks pizza was cooked in an open hearth oven and it was good. The atmosphere here is pleasant and clean with a dining room, outdoor patio, and a nice large bar. We felt that the service was very good and would surely go back again. Their prices are moderate for the atmosphere, plenty of parking and a well lit parking area. Let me emphasize that this is a no smoking establishment and I thought family and people friendly. I didn't feel is was a trendy place this visit because we were there on a Monday evening and it was not crowded. First visit 4 stars. This location again, has New Owners it is now called The 412 Tap house I believe. Since they don’t have karaoke I have not been there to make any recommendations, so you are on your own to check them out.”

“i ordered the square pepperoni classic , the crust was crispy and the toppings were generous. i also tried the parmesan pepper fries. these fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. the only downside is the price point which is the only reason i didnt give 5 stars , its a bit expensive and the pizza only comes in one size. its an 8 cut but the slices are pretty large . i will order from here again”

I brought my wife here for a pre-birthday dessert celebration, and it was exquisite. We love finding places that have late night coffee and dessert, so this was a perfect place. We got the chocolate sponge cake with raspberry sauce, and it was excellent. I was also super excited that you have decaf espresso drinks. I love all the artwork on your walls and the comfortable couches are A great place to relax after a long day. Blue Sky Kitchen & Bar is a much needed new addition to this area of East Liberty and the ownership of this new venture is easily one of the neighborhood's most loyal hospitality leaders to the surrounding community that you can find. From the classics like Buffalo Chicken Dip to spicy new twist's on fried shrimp, the menu will have something for everyone. The service was quick, and the food was exactly what we came for... Plenty of seating both inside, and outside (weather permitting) and rumors are spreading that they venue plans to build an outdoor structure so that live music can be played in all weather environments...but that's down the road for now. I'm glad to share that this location is LGBTQIA friendly and will glad to be a regular at this much needed 211 Tower renovation.”

“Very very good for a newer restaurant. I ordered fish & grits, hubby ordered chicken and churro waffles. My meal was extraordinary. It would help if the menu identified the type of fish. It was whiting and well cooked. The grits were creamy & cheesy, a splash of tomato relish added a tangy twist. The chicken was fried hard and the tender waffle was dusted with cinnamon sugar & sprinkled with blueberries. Delicious! Service was friendly and the decor is minimalist modern.”

“I thought I found a new place to eat because I absolutely love a good meal. I purchased the Penn Ave Feast with extra lobster tails. I thought I was purchasing hot, fresh, tasty food; not the case. The crab legs were cold, the shrimp were okay, the lobster tails were salty, the salmon tasted spoiled and the street corn was cold. To live up to the name of the place, some changes needed to be made. I don't think I will be going back UNLESS changes are made asap. Also, watch your bill, your food is surcharged under the title of Advantage Program Surcharge. It would have still be worth it, IF the food was hot and fresh. Good Luck at this place.”
