“It is a successful Asian restaurant with tasty food and reasonable prices. Miso soup was good. Sushi (rolls) could have been better, I think the rice was not well prepared or cooked. Beef bowl was delicious with a big portion. Dumpling was also tasty and we liked it. The service is also fine.”

YOSTERIA - Enoteca & Mercato

Address: 914 Main St, Pittsburgh, PA 15215, USA

Restaurant

“What a great addition to Sharpsburg. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere transported us to a little Italian cafe. We started off with cocktails and they did not disappoint. We then ordered a few small plates - the cheese boards and fried dough were delicious. We also saw the meatballs delivered to a few tables and regretted not ordering those. Overall - great service, great wine list and great space. We can’t wait to go back!”

Papelón Venezuelan Arepa Bar

Address: 1923 Murray Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“New spot for Venezuelan food. I was a little disappointed but it's just one of their first few months in business, so I may give them a shot again later. I tried the 'one of each' empanada combination: one chicken empanada, one shredded beef empanada, and one cheese empanada. My favorite out of the three was definitely the beef empanada. The meat was tender and had the perfect texture. It was flavorful and juicy, crispy, and overall great. I would recommend probably just getting 3 beef empanadas rather than a sampling since it was far better than the others. The chicken was still pretty good. It wasn't as flavorful and juicy as the beef but still not bad. The chicken was milder, and it went really well with the side sauce. Now, my least favorite and the one I would almost definitely recommend skipping is the cheese empanada. I'm usually a huge fan of cheese, but this was just extremely underwhelming. It was way, way too greasy and had almost no flavor at all. No spice, no garlic, no anything. Not worth it. The empanadas themselves are all made from corn. So, they are a bit crunchy and hard. I'm not the biggest fan of the corn, and would prefer a softer empanada like at Mi Empanada. The sauce they served these with was awesome. A tad creamy and super tasty. All in all, maybe this place needs some more time to establish themselves. They do have some cool items like golfeados and arepas, but the empanadas were underwhelming. If you do come here, try the beef empanada.”

Viet Nom Nom

Address: 1715 Murray Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217, USA

Restaurant

“This is by far my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in town. The staff is very friendly, warmly asking me if I were the first time being there. She explained the menu items in details and also explained how to customize my own Banh Mi hoagie or rice bowl. Eventually I tried meatball pho. It is delicious and generous in portion. The broth has a nice umami (savory) taste. The rice noodle is cooked just well, not overcooked. The meatball is a gem. It is chewy and juicy. It does not like the meatball used in Italian cuisine. The portion is huge; finishing one pho by myself is a bit challenging, though I did it. Would return for the Banh Mi hoagie!”

“Excellent food, very sophisticated menu! I’m not a “pictures of my food” all the time kind of person, but here, the dinner was art! There were dynamic flavor combinations and interesting takes on the common Thai menu. The portions are very large and the ingredients are premium. We are planning out our meal for our next visit!”

Restaurant Cafe

“This has to be the BEST Breakfast place in Pittsburgh!!!!! The immaculate restaurant is so inviting and the staff are so professional and friendly! The menu is exceptional. I had the “Graham Bell” breakfast which consisted of Fried French Toast with fresh blueberries, strawberries and bananas and 2 perfectly made sunny side up eggs!!! This breakfast was way beyond perfection!!! I never had anything so beautifully displayed on the plate and so delicious!!! I also ordered their fresh cut seasoned fried potatoes that were so tasty. My palate was so satisfied. My sister ordered the “Ramses Omelet” which was so puffy with mozzarella and cheddar cheese accompanied with a delicious salad. This also was exceptional! We topped the breakfast extravaganza with an order of their famous Cinnamon Balls with real whipped cream and a coffee/caramel sauce! Oh my God!!! We were in Heaven. The owner has impeccable taste in designing the restaurant and menu. We can’t wait to come back and taste everything on the menu.THIS IS A MUST TRY RESTAURANT!!!!❤️❤️”

Amazing Dumplings

Address: 5882 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217, USA

Restaurant

“The food was very good and the service was prompt and excellent. The tea we ordered was nicely served and we did not have to wait long to get our meal. We arrived at 3pm and were the only people there which was nice. They did have a lot of take out going on so it did seem like a popular spot. The dumplings we had were very well done and the sushi I ordered was a very generous side. The presentation as you can see was very nice and fun. Would certainly stop again, keep in mind though If you do go these are a different style of dumplings then you maybe used to since they are based on a different region in China then what are usually served here in the USA.”

Samovar halal restaurant مطعم سماور حلال

Address: 10 Smithfield St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, USA

Restaurant

“Five star ONLY for food! Araghi kabob is delicious and reminds me of home. Chicken was okay but a bit dry. Tea and dessert was so goood. location is not really nice and although they have decorated it elegantly, staff does not really do their job well. Paper plates, no one comes to check on you, not been asked if we want appetizer or dessert menu, and no one takes dirty dishes… seems they lack some skills there :) candles on tables smells very strong and cheap, ceiling fan is annoying….I’d definitely be a customer again but for takeout only. Update: I got takeout the next time and was a better experience. Food is really good, just not a good service for dine in.”
