“I love the subs!!! My go to is The Hook & Ladder! However I would not recommend ordering ahead. I had an experience tonight where I ordered well in advance (1/2 hour) and when I arrived (on time) 3 people were ordering at the counter so I stood at the appropriate spot where a sign indicated "online pick up". Two people were behind the counter, 1 taking orders and 1 making subs. They both saw me standing there but neither approached or spoke to me. Thinking that the one making the subs was still making my order in addition to the counter orders I waited. 10 minutes later after the counter orders were complete the "sub maker" took off his gloves and went into the back room. Finally the order person looked my way and I asked her if she had an online order ready. She said yes and gave me the prepared order which was sitting on the back counter (perhaps on a warmer/toaster of some sort). I only live 4 minutes away and by the time I got home they were only slightly warm in the center. Again I love the subs but I think from now on I will order when I get there.”

“I like this place. I have been coming here for 16 Years. Recently they changed ownership, but you can't tell, because everything has stayed pretty much the same. Same delicious, fresh bagels and muffins and sandwiches. Same casual, cozy atmosphere The only thing that has changed over the years is that people have found out about it and it is much busier now. Sometimes you have to wait in line a while to order. They do run out of muffins. I wish they would make more. Also the new guy they hired made several mistakes when we were there.”

“As always, the cheese and broccoli soup was delicious. I got the 1/2 & 1/2- half of a sandwich and half of a soup. That also came with a piece of bread. The sandwich was the 'Modern Caprese Salad' ...and I wish Id gotten a whole sandwich. Or three. ???? It was THAT good! (Just checking the menu, I see that a whole sandwich on its own is $9.99.) I went with my parents and sister, and they were also very happy about their selections. I've been there many times before this, and will be going back.”
