“The sweet chili calamari and oxtail dumplings were delicious. I tried all of the nonalcoholic fruity drinks and they didn't disappoint. I had the mushroom stir fry and braised short ribs, they both were exceptionally well-prepared. The pumpkin soup was good. I also ordered a side of potatoes and fries for the table and they were also delicious. Now the disrespect showed herself with the desserts and I mean that in a good way. The toffee cake, butter cake, and sweet potato beignets were all giving a ten. This place has a nice atmosphere and I want to catch brunch here..Stay tuned.”

“12 wings for $18. That is $1.50 for a half wing. It’s 18 because each sauce costs $1 to add. Quite unusual. Besides the higher than average prices. The wings are crispy and dry, instead of crispy on the outside and hot and steamy within. But I was informed that this is common in West and north Philly. In fact, I know a lot of people who cook their chicken like this at home, so if you want that home cooked chicken that is on the dry side (super well done) then this is for you. Despite the negatives, the sauce was homemade and authentic and the chicken tastes like a home cooked meal to most. Also, it’s not salty and does not make you feel ashamed like all the pizza places and American Chinese restaurants that make wings. I recommend that this place get the price point down, and maybe sell the sauce. Not all good chicken has to be wings.”

“SOUTHERN SOUL FOOD ALERT!!! WOW, WOW, WOW... Let me start by saying someone posted this Restaurant on a Lansdowne, Pa neighborhood page the other day and I screen shot the name yesterday... I was thinking about trying them all day but when I got home from work today I fell asleep. When I woke up it was 6:30pm. I was hungry so I looked at their website and it said they close at 7pm so I wasn't going to order because I NEVER order from places within an hour of closing!!! I was mad at myself for falling asleep... but changed my mind and called them up and asked if they were still taking orders but if not I would call tomorrow. The young lady on the phone said sure we will take your order... so I ordered the Southern Sampler (Ribs, Whole Chicken Wings, and Whiting Fish) and she said were sorry but we are out of Ribs... so I said thats fine I will just have the Chicken and Fish with my two sides of Louisiana Collard Greens and 5 Cheese Mac & Cheese... order in! The young lady says I will call you 10 mins before its ready... I drive over and wait outside it might have taken 20 mins and she called and I go in... she says just a few more mins and it will be out... then the Chef comes out and starts to apologize to ME for the food taking so long... I said to him no sir I'm sorry For calling in my order so late to which he says its never too late... I say I want to THANK YOU for just serving me so close to closing... This man is worried about my food taking too long and he comes out to apologize to me!!! Might I add THIS FOOD IS MADE TO ORDER... I expect it to take some time... I just thought everyone should know from the start this man cares about his customers!!!! Now the food!!! Collard Greens absolutely the BEST I have ever had.. The Chicken Wings crispy on the outside juicy on the inside cooked perfectly, the Whiting crispy on the outside and Perfectly Flakey on the Inside.. I Never really order Mac & Cheese because I don't really enjoy it most of the time... but I would definitely Order this Mac and Cheese Again!!! I cant wait to try the rest of their menu and am hoping they just opened because I would hate to know that this place been around the corner from me and I have been missing out all this time!!! GIVE THEM A SHOT! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!”

I like most of the McDonald's restaurants remodeled, but this one is the best. One floor only, but very roomy & a great view of the cars passing by. Drop in after shopping at the other stores or for a quick bite & you will won't be disappointed. Nicely lighted. The cleanest McDonald's I ever seen! :)”
