“Just found this gem about 2 weeks ago and my boys (3 & 10) are now regulars! This place is one of my favorites because it's good fun for the whole family, even adults! Also, it's allergy-friendly! They made a special chicken salad for my son who is allergic to dairy, nuts, and eggs without any issues or reactions - very impressive!! 👏. Not only is their food amazing, but they have very friendly staff, one which has already memorized my name. She is also very helpful to my son, who has autism. “This is a unique little gem that I'm excited to learn more about! You shouldn't hesitate checking them out. This is a great meeting place for catching up with friends or meeting clients. As the barista, that served me today, said "this is Honesdale's best kept secret." But why?!? Everyone needs to know they are there. I'm not sure how I've missed this! They have drinks and food; Anatomy Craft Coffee Bar coffee, tea and espresso drinks, Maae's Juice Bar smoothies and bowls, Follow the Smoke BBQ, Brother's Bagels, and who knows what I missed. They have limited menus to make it simple and not too overwhelming, yet plenty of different offerings for everyone. There are multiple businesses in one here and that's a unique concept. They have seating options from a couch or individual chair to table and chairs to gather at. They have music nights. They have a suggestion board and comments board (love this BTW). They have a few games and a shelf of books. On seperate floors I hear they have a tutoring space, office spaces, and conference room (this part I don't quite get yet, but I'm intrigued). Over all just a very welcoming feel and great place. It was clean and the vibes were good. The best part- I was very pleased with my iced caramel macchiato and everything bagel with plain smear. The pricing is a little steeper than I expected, especially for the bagel. (I think bagels were $2.50 or with cream cheese it's $4.50.) However, I think that's pretty normal for this kind of Cafe style place?! I have to elaborate on the coffee though. While they only offer one size, it was pretty darn good. Smooth, not over powering, just the right amount of oat milk and caramel. Was definitely not bitter. I do not give out solid 5 star reviews often, but this is earned. I don't have a complaint. I will be back again and look forward to trying more things, especially food from Follow the Smoke. The true test will be if they are consistent. That is the key. But if you're reading this before deciding on a new place to try in Honesdale, go, try them out. You won't regret it.”

“Amazing service. Amazing bagel. Albeit you will pay a steep price. And nearly 1$ extra for EACH topping you add on a sandwich. Other than that this place is great. The cheesesteak on a garlic bagel double toasted is to DIE for. Every sandwich has as much meat as they can fit on it comfortably. I hear a lot of people complaining about waiting. I’ve never had an issue although I order online in advance every time. The only other downside is the coffee. I don’t think they know how to use the espresso machine properly. There are diagrams in the store that show what the differences are in coffee styles. I ordered a latte and pretty much got milk and expresso poured in a cup and sent on my way. It did the job but not exactly a latte. At least it is was only like 4$. Maybe it’s an extra dollar for them to froth the milk or something.”

“If you read any of my previous post, you will know I am not a coffee drinker. However, my wife LOVES coffee and I am the sweet tooth in the family. Well, Meadowlark has both and even more. The coffee according to my wife is just the best. They have a variety of brews, but the cold brew is the BEST Option. To go with their delicious coffee is an amazing selection of homemade (made in house) pastries. Today we ( or should I say I) sampled the chocolate chip cookie and Lemon/Blueberry Scone. They both were so delicious that I forgot to save my wife even one crumb. But knowing we will go back again, she can order her own next time. We also tried one of their homemade soups today and it too was awesome. They made a spicy pork kimchi soup that was out of this world. So for me, this place has checked off all the boxes for an amazing coffee and bakery, plus !! However, whats a great coffee/bakery without atmosphere. If you are looking to enjoy a great cup of coffee, pastries or some warm soups, stop on over to Meadowlark.”
