I'm what you would call a sushi connoisseur, I've been all over the country, and I always look for the best sushi restaurant in the area, and I can for certain say this place is the best it gets. All fresh ingredients, great service, the atmosphere is amazing with a little candle light to set the mood, personalized napkins and a nice set of weighted chopsticks to dine with. I live 4 hours on the Turnpike away from this restaurant and will make a special trip to go again. 12/10 Cannot recommend enough”

“Excellent food and service. We decided to try this new (in the third week today) Chinese restaurant. We were not disappointed. I think this is going to be our go-to Chinese place from now on. Service was rendered with a smile and courtesy by a very charming young lady. We ordered our food and paid for it at the counter. I didn't think there would be any table service, but she brought our food to our table. She even checked on us a couple of times during the course of our stay. Our food was excellent and delicious. My wife said it was the best egg drop soup ever. We both enjoyed our $7.55 lunch (photos)! We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.”

“'Peeps' is a very nice small diner here in Harleysville, with excellent service and a complete breakfast and lunch menu! We had a cheese omelette, with bacon added to it, and also a corned beef skillet with eggs. Both came with choice of toast and hash browns. They were both very good (personally I'm always looking for a good corned beef in a skillet - I would tweak it a bit by not crisping the corned beef and also adding a bit more of it to the skillet, but that's me). The value / price of the food was also excellent! We will definitely be returning and wanting to try more of the delicious breakfast menu choices and also the great choices on the lunch menu!”

“Tonight was our first trip to Shamokin Luna's, and I can confidently say not our last. My wife and I shared a steak stromboli and a chicken parm sub along with a side of french fries. The servings were HUGE!!! The stromboli was stuffed with steak and cheese with a container of sauce on the side. The chicken parm sub was stuffed and toasted just right. Everything was delicious. They had a FULL Italian menu including cannoli that looked fantastic, but there was no chance I was going to be able to eat one (we took more than half the stromboli and half the chicken parm sub home). Prices were more than fair bordering on cheap. There is a smallish seating area to eat in, but it seemed there were a ton of takeout and deliveries going out. The staff were friendly and helpful even tho they seemed to be swamped. The only downside I saw was that drinks are available in can or bottle only (not a big drawback). Definitely will come back again!!”

“I've seen a number of Starbucks pop up in the area over the years, but this one is the closest to my house. It helps fill the empty gap between McKnight Road, which has a staggering 5 locations, and Wexford. Conveniently located in Pine Plaza by a Giant Eagle and Target, it's unique in that it used to be a bank. This already provided it with a drive thru, but also resulted in an unusual design. I went one evening not long after it opened and quickly bought a passion fruit mango refresher inside, so I'm sure I'll return and try driving through. The entrance area is small, I didn't notice any internal seating, only patio furniture outside. It is a two story building, so I wonder if anything is downstairs?”
