“This Dunkin location is hit or miss. While I enjoy the convenience of having Dunk in New Oxford, the hassle is that this shop always seems to mess up my order. I'm either missing something. My drink is not made, or a sandwich is made wrong. The staff are friendly and always correct the mistakes.”

“Tried this place for the first time last night. Being a Friday night, I expected a wait. It was way longer than I had expected. It took an hour, but the staff were all inside busting their butts off, they were just that busy. I would maybe suggest turning the phone off next time they get that busy, it was nuts in there. Tons of people waiting inside for their food to be done, wait times were far from accurate, and the phones just kept ringing. I felt bad for the staff having to run around like that. Food was steaming hot, got it fresh out of the oven. Everything tasted great. I’d definitely recommend, just not on a weekend night.”

“I love this place. Went here with my friends, got some really good chicken that was not dry and talked for 2 hours! was a little pricey but the chicken was good! I think the hype around this place makes sense, plus gas was cheaper also The gas tasted good too 🤪🤪🤪🤪.”

“Today was our first visit. We had no idea what a gem we were missing out on. They make flat bread pizzas in an outdoor oven, offer wines slushies, wine tastings, and cider tastings. I also saw loaded nachos on the menu. All of the staff were friendly. We'll definitely visit again.”

“I have always loved this Dairy Queen and we visit it frequently, but after tonight not sure when I’ll go back. My strawberry cheesecake blizzard that we asked for extra cheesecake bites in had about 6 cheesecake bites in the whole medium blizzard and it just didn’t taste right. Also, I understand there are a ton of new people training (apparently it took them 3 or 4 tries to make our order), but the consistency of the product you’re putting out lately is not the same as before. It’s like you never know what to expect when going, and a lot of the faces I used to see when I went in are no longer there. Things are totally different now that John has retired.”

“For one even before I was a Gettysburg local I supported Battlefield Brew Works and helped letting people know about it. Now that my family and I are finally Gettysburg locals we love going to have dinner and listen to live music. It’s a great place for families and friends to enjoy great drinks and food while listening to live music. For those coming to Gettysburg for trips make sure you check out Battlefield Brew Works. Oh and just for those who are veterans or active military it’s very Veteran owned.”

“I didn't actually eat here. Just popped in to see what type of food market it is. Plenty of good looking food. I also saw a wine place. Looks like a good dining area. Some pool tables. Definitely going to have to come back”

“We came for the Easter dinner buffet and it was superb. For it being the first official day of being open, everything was wonderful. Staff was friendly and working hard, and the food was great. There was something for every member of the family to enjoy, including the arcade. Very family friendly. Can’t wait to come again. Highly recommend!”

“I was expecting Hometown Buffet but this was so much better. There was lot of variety and entrees were well cooked. I was especially surprised by how much variety there was in the salad bar. 🥗 Too bad there wasn’t tofu.”

“I have never dealt with anyone that gives you the personal attention that the Cashtown Inn does. Not only are they accommodating but extremely friendly. They go out of their way. To Make sure your stay is as relaxing and comfortable as possible. They leave no stone unturned. I would highly recommend staying at this place when visiting Gettysburg. Wish this old-fashioned customer service still existed everywhere else.”

“Had a great dinner last night with my husband at their grand opening! The special cocktails were all very nice. Enjoyed the pretzel rolls and venison sausage to start, then the scallops and the venison steak for dinner. The sauce with the venison steak was particularly lovely. The speed of food and pacing was on par with a restaurant who is on top of things, totally belying the fact that they just (grandly) opened with a pretty packed house. The service may have come with some opening night jitters. Everyone was lovely, nothing but compliments there. We had our appetizers without cutlery/napkins and we got a few things delivered next to empty plates stacked and waiting to go away. We were on the bar side, so I imagine service was a little more casual anyway. Little stuff that wasn't quite sharp but not a nuisance either. See y'all again soon!”

“Friendly place, was Dunlap's Restaurant but now managed by the folks next door at the Federal Pointe Inn. We dined there just a few days after the transition, and there were a few sticking points, like there were no desserts, they were out of some condiments, and the waiter and cook weren't familiar with the menu, I had to ask for a redo on my chicken as the portion wasn't correct. It tasted good, and my daughter's steak was cooked as ordered and was very good. I'm sure they'll work out the issues soon and we'll be back to try again. Ample parking on the Inn side. Airlock front doors, a simple thing but keeps things so much nicer on really hot and cold days.”

“What a wonderful establishment. The pizza was absolutely delicious...we had both NY and Sicilian. We had the nicest time talking to the owner Iggy, who was born in Italy, and his 9 year old son. They were so warm and welcoming. I love places like this...hidden gems!! Oh and I love good pizza 🍕 sorry about the one pic...I started eating before I remembered to take the picture.”

“Some of my family went for dinner and drinks on a Friday. It was pretty busy when we arrived but we were seated soon after going in. You have to read the menus at your table first then go up to a section of the bar to order food and drinks. Nice menu selection. They have symbols listed next to each item for vegans, vegetarian, gluten free, etc. Prices are a little pricey but well worth it. We didn't wait long to receive our food. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! We especially loved the herbed potatoes! And the drinks were tasty! Overall, a great place for dinner with family and friends!”

“Royal Farms is my favorite convenience store. They offer everything I need in one stop. From gas to tobacco to snacks and ice cream. Plenty of assorted drinks. And a made to order deli counter. The staff are extremely nice and helpful.”
