“Only leaving a 4 star so that I can keep this open ended for when I go back and try more. For today I only grabbed a plain slice and a white slice. Had some people I know tell me that Joe’s Brick Oven was the real deal so I had to stop in and find out. I love a good white slice and figured trying the plain was necessary to gauge against others in the area. The sign says Brooklyn Style pizza and anytime a place says that I’m skeptical right off the bat. Well…this is in fact Brooklyn style, and it’s good. Quite good. The sauce on the plain had just enough sweetness that it wasn’t overly acidic. The amount of cheese was perfect, and the dough had good consistency and flavor. Nice crispy crust! The crust was even crispier on the white slice and the ricotta was seasoned up nicely. I’ll absolutely be back to try out more but for now, Joe’s Brick Oven in Cresco, PA - Didn’t Suck! “The water park was so much fun for the whole family! There is something for everyone. The temperature is perfect for water activities inside, even if it's freezing or raining or both outside. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room we had was so nice and comfortable and roomy. The shower faucet thing could use some help, but overall it was a wonderful stay!! “Big is in the name. And big is in the flavor. Chicken sandwich I had was the Nashville hot which was fantastic it was juicy and hot crispy and just the right amount of spice. The pickles tasted like something I would have made it home very fresh and crisp. The french fries were crisp and hot perfectly seasoned. We had the seasonal iced tea which I couldn't tell if it was lemon or Peach but it was delicious and I had like four or five cups of it. I really enjoyed eating here and I would recommend it again. Definitely get the big chicken sauce and dip your French fries and chicken and basically everything you would eat in that sauce”

For my meal, I ordered a large pizza pie, and I couldn't resist a special order of their sausage roll. To say it was enormous is an understatement; this sausage roll could easily feed a small party! “Came here due to the high reviews. I also been to Dominican Republic many times, so I’m familiar with the food. So decided to give this place a try. 🦋 loved the ambience & atmosphere. The decor was amazing. There’s two different styles of rooms. One was very floral and with windows. The other more like recording room. Loved that. 🦋 they have Live music nights 🦋 got the sangria to start (it’s good, just tasted like mostly juice). 🦋 bread for table. Fresh bread with either melted butter or oil. 🦋 got 2 empanadas to start. One was cheese. The other was cheese with chicken. No sauce came with them. (Usually with empanadas there’s 2 different sauces. I had to ask for a sauce… after waiting a while, the waiter brought like a ketchup mixed with mayonnaise sauce…I was hoping for the green sauce. ) 🦋 my partner got the oxtail. It was mostly fat and it was so unflavored. Also the waiter completely forgot to bring us the beans included with the dish. 🦋I got the cheese mafungo (I asked the waiter if he can put garlic sauce on the side…turned out it was drenched in garlic butter (which was a complete charge$ of its own). It was very heavy and I got heart burn from it. I only ate 1/3 & took the rest to go… 🦋 overall the waiter was very nice & respectful but very forgetful. He was very quick with getting us drinks…but after that…the communication was off. In the end when he came…I told you him “you forgot our beans”…& my partner also ordered another dish & that was completely forgotten as well. He felt very bad & when we took our leftover’s, he gave us extra oxtail and rice…”

“The best crepe I've ever had. Mine had brownie, kitkat, nutella and a chocolate drizzle, it was delicious and I devoured it. I will be getting it next time I come here. The bubble iced tea was amazing too, and Ive never even liked tea, but I managed to love drinking this despite it definitely tasting like tea. I'm drinking it as I'm writing this. The lady was extremely nice, very quick to make my stuff, and it was just a good experience. Just became my favorite food place in the area.”

“If there was a 3.5 option that's where this would land. Tried a "chili cheese" dawg and a plain slice. Chili cheese is in quotations because this was not typical. I would have ordered it regardless and I ended up enjoying it, but I was just surprised. The chili was more of an Italian style chili with a hefty flavor of tomato, and the cheese was like shaker bottle parmesan cheese. The bun was a split top white bread style that they would serve in New England. The dog being $6 was more than it should have been, but businesses in this area are always up charging with camelback right there so I expected it. The slice was solid. Good flavor and I asked for it cooked well done and it was crispy. Don't recall the cost of the slice. This used to be Tony's on the Mountain but the pizza didn't taste the same so I'm assuming with new owners came a new pizza maker. All in all it was good, not great. “I was so happy when I heard a new cookie spot was opening up in this area. Walked in and ordered one of each flavor to go. The place was modern and clean. The employees were extremely friendly and explained the menu well. We got fresh cookies in under 5 minutes, which is amazing considering they were moderately busy.
