“We went in on a Sunday evening - they seem to have a seat yourself policy here. We sat down just below the pool table. Our server (Kathleen I think) was very good. The cheeseburger was $10. They have a fairly good selection of beers - the cheapest was Coors at $5 and I think the most expensive was $8. After the food we weren't rushed out so sat there and enjoyed the live Irish music which was on until 9 p.m. Overall it was a great night out”

“Second time dining at Joe’s and it did not disappoint. This time we sat at the bar downstairs and also ate downstairs which we liked better than upstairs. The food was amazing, half chicken, calamari, and scallops are winners. Staff is friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is lovely. Will definitely be going back when we visit next year!”

“Very nice people, the atmosphere works but it isn't high class. If you just want to try something new in a simple setting this place will fit your needs. Not overly priced, about $20 to $25 for a Hookah set up for 2 and their specialty creations are fun. It's BYOB with a $1 pouring fee. I'd suggest buying waters. Easy to get dried out. Molasses is an option for the tobacco free types. If you're going for the belly dancers.... Friday night's. Not always guaranteed, if you're able call ahead for details.”

“Hands down, the food was great. The service is bit cold, but swift and professional. Just a tiny note..it does not make sense to me asking me how do I want my steak cooked when it is not followed. I guess it's just a ritual..”

“Good place for lunch or dinner. Comfortable areas to sit with attached bar room. Some seating looks at the Tennis Hall of Fame Good kids menu. Attentive staff. Prices reasonable.”

“Simple idea, order great bbq, sit, eat in a nice, clean place. Although of course I love the beefs and porks, what I truly look forward to is the buttery and smoky turkey breast the way they cook it here. Turns turkey into butter. Awesome.”

“Active restaurant and bar. Lunch and evening menus are both great. Reasonably priced foods and drinks. Staff constantly asked if service was needed, which was great even during the busy evening I was there. Plenty drinks to chose from as well. Staff did add erroneous drinks to a friend's tab, which was fixed. When asked why they were added, they stated "the other bar tender told me to add it." Call that what you want. I will be going back because of the service and food. I hope not to run across that issue again because the establishment was outstanding.”

“The burgers are quite good but the fries can be disappointing. Some people say that this is the best burger in RI, but I'm more partial to Harry's (at least the one in Providence). Definitely a fast place for burgers (can be busy at times). Love they use named dinosaurs as their "numbers".”

“We ordered blackened fish burrito and paella. Both were excellent and ample. Yum! I loved both, but a bit too spicy for my spouse. It is noisy, so be prepared.”

“So, so, good!! First time eating here and was so impressed! Everything we ordered was delicious, service was great, atmosphere clean, comfortable, and well laid out. Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and really reasonably priced, especially for Newport. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for a break from typical Newport fare.”

“Corner Cafe was such a treat! The food was great and the staff was even better. We went at about 9am on a Friday and by 10am the placed was packed. They seemed a bit under staffed but the staff that was there made the best of it. the Double Sandwich was really good and the French toast was delicious!”

“Has all the makings of a great breakfast place. I would suggest that the poached eggs be a little less done and more yolky. Corned beef hash needs a better corned beef/ potato ratio. Seemed like mostly potato. However, service is friendly and prices are also reasonable.”

“Great little place with a great ambiance. I had The Pad Thai and it was one of the best I've had! Great menu and great cocktails! Try the espresso martini!”

“Great service. Drinks were on point. We had the Pink Elephant and The Princess which they changed up at my request from tequila to vodka. We shared the macaroni and cheese (delicious) short rib tacos (tender but a little dry-needed a sauce) and the fried chicken sandwich with their fries- SO GOOD! Definitely recommend.”

“Anthony's is a great place for Seafood! We have visited more than a dozen times. If Anthony's had 50 more seats they would be full. A very popular restaurant with a full fish market run out of the same building. Parking is always at a premium. We find looking out back next to the gym can serve you well or play the wait for someone to leave game. When you enter your greeted with the fish market. To your right are 2 lines to order. Make sure to grab a menu from the base of the sign so you know what you want before you get to the register. Once you place your order your given a tray with a number. The Host will sit you when a spot opens. Remember to grab your drink before the register. Alcohol can be ordered when you pay. Your food is brought out to you by servers. They also offer take out. The Take out register is separate around the corner to your left. If you want to sit at any of the tables outside you HAVE to go to the takeout reg. But have someone save your seat if you can. Dress code is beach casual. You'll see every attire possible. To sum things up. Foods Good! We'll be back.”

“Simply an amazing experience. The owner/ manager / server and life of the restaurant oozes such a positive energy that it makes this place feel like home. Even for out of towners such as ourselves. The food smells amazing. I haven't been served yet but have very high expectations . Place is small and quaint which makes this even a better experience for us. Oh yeah. Food is amazing.”
