“Friendly staff. I got the spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. The meatballs were tender and flavorful. The sausage was somehow tough. Not just a little tough, but petrified. It was presumably cooked in the sauce. I would have thought it impossible to get Italian sausage to come out tough, cooked in this manner. They somehow pulled it off.”

“What's not to love on Federal Hill! We stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, we were seated immediately. We used the rear valet entrance. If you know the area the parking lot is behind the restaurant. I had a chicken parmigiana sandwich, the others had a cheese ravioli plate & veal w/peppers & fried calamari. No complaints on quality of the food. However here's what I wasn't a fan of, the portions especially the veal! Definitely not enough for my husband! This also wasn't offered w/any sides other than the bread that was brought to the table. The calamari wasn't enough for 2 people to split & I ate the entire portion, was really delicious!! I wish they would have offered fries or a salad or even a pickle w/my sandwich. The staff was friendly. The interior is decorated w/photos of years ago, a train on track will travel if you insert a coin. I would return but I truly expected much more from a Federal Hill restaurant.”

“Went here with a large group of people during a recent visit to Rhode Island and had a nice dinner. We got some appetizer platters to share with the table and everything that was included was very tasty. I then got the Cassarino and that was really good. The portion size was huge and I was able to bring half of it home for lunch the next day. This was a nice dinner in a nice setting on Federal Hill and I will definitely be back the next time I am in Rhode Island.”

“I have now been twice to the diner. The diner car was renovated beautifully and the back dining room connected to the dining car in the building behind was also well done. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I can't understand the negative reviews on price or the food not being good. The food I have had was great and the prices are very reasonable. I have had the Crab Cake Benedict and the Fall River Omlette, both were amazing! I have been searching for a good breakfast place for awhile and I can honestly say this is one of the best I have had in a long time. I will definitely be coming back for more visits. I recommend everyone give this place a try!”

During one of my visits a homeless man entered the establishment to ask the staff for some change for the bus. Not only did the owner give him money for the bus, she had him sit down and proceeded to get him a hot meal.”

“My wife and I were in the mood for shawarma and falafel, but being fairly new to Pawtucket, weren't sure where to find really good Lebanese food. I did a quick Google search and found "Shish Kabob" right down the road from us. The owner was super friendly! And the food....WOW!!! Oh my goodness, the food was delicious! I had the beef shawarma sandwich and my wife had the falafel sandwich! Let me tell you, we couldn't possibly be happier with our meals! The spices were perfect, the beef was tender but grilled nice and crunchy, and the falafel was soft inside and crunchy on the outside, just as it should be! The veggies for the sandwich were nice and fresh and crisp! If you're looking for authentic Lebanese food, you NEED to give this spot a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!”
