“I stopped in to Underground Burrito last night for the first time. We recently moved to town and it looks like a fun and inviting place to try something new. The service was excellent; friendly and with a smile. I tried the roasted sweet potato burrito and it was fresh and delicious. The queso dip had just the right amount of heat and was one of the best I have had. My family will definitely be back for more. :)”

Was expecting to see more souvenirs than seeing a bar and grill set up with a beer and wine section for purchase as well as a SMALL souvenir section. Worthy of trying their food the next time we are down there. They should update their sign letting people know their new kitchen hours. The antique items such as the pay phone and booth as well as the old ice box, were well worth visiting.”

“We have done family meals from Downtown Deli for multiple holidays and have loved all the food. Great beef tenderloin, lamb, turkey, mashed potatoes, and more. We also did a family lasagna and it was delicious. Highly recommend order a family meal from Downtown Deli and take the night off from cooking. “My family and I ate at Akomeya Asian Bistro for the first time for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and boasts an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. The bathrooms were pristine. The food was good and the presentation was nice. And we cannot brag enough on the service, especially Shorty! Shorty is a great guy. We really enjoyed taking with him and look forward to catching up with him the next time we stop in for a meal. If you haven’t eaten here yet, we recommend you give it a try.”

“Went to the Hidden Gem, the small restaurant in Peaceful Henry’s. It was the first time we ever went there. My husband and I split the philly cheese steak sandwich and potato salad. Was out of this world! My husband doesn’t like bacon and bacon is in their potato salad. So the chef went out of her way and whipped us up a fresh batch with no bacon. Where else would you get this kind of service?! The gentleman at the bar was also very kind. Will definitely go back. Also has a nice porch to eat on or to just sit and sip a drink while lately watching the cars and people go by.”

“Great place in a really awesome addition to old town Bluffton. This is maybe my fourth or fifth visit and I make it a point to come here every time I’m in town. Definitely recommend everyone try this out when you’re in here. “First and foremost, the crew are friendly. This review is not to take away from their hard work. However, I want others to be aware of what I saw. The store as a whole is not very clean. It is a mess. Besides the photos, there were little fruit fly type of flies in the bakery case. It was not appealing to see these conditions especially during this time. It is clear that the shop needs to have a deep clean by others who are not already working hard to serve customers. Our items were good but hard to get down because I could not stop thinking about the store being unsat. I have never been in a Starbucks that was this level of unsat. Pay the price and get and continue deep cleanings. I know I cannot be the only person that has noticed the uncleanliness.”

I love the chef and her hospitality feels like I was in Thailand. I also need to mention her husband and he is so kind and a great host. “My family and I had takeout food from Casablanca a few days ago and it was absolutely delicious. I had the mixed grill; Lamb Gyro, Chicken Shawarma and it was as good or better than any Mediterranean food that I have had in other parts of the world. The Sauces and sides were very good as well. “My wife and I had a fantastic breakfast here, our first trip. I had the hot shot chicken biscuit with pimento cheese and a spicy honey. Recommendation from me as a hot head to get extra honey or a side of the hot honey because I like a little extra kick. My wife had the renegade also awesome but the bacon jam puts it over the top. Biscuits were huge, fluffy on the inside and had a little crust on the outside so perfect. The pimento cheese is also very good and definitely home made. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.”
