“This is a typical Starbucks and the food and drink is as usual so they get 3 stars. Normally Starbucks gets 5 but these guys lose 2 stars because they are deceitful about their cleaning status. There outside tables are clearly marked that they have been sanitized and ready for use, however after witnessing numerous patrons coming and going, nobody had cleaned any of the tables. They would lead you to believe they are being cleaned after each use, but that is not the case. An organization as large and strong as Starbucks has the ability to lead in the efforts of showing others how to handle this pandemic and I believe most of them do, but this one does not appear to be following those guidelines. I think they are better than this and ask that they monitor this situation closely.”

“If you are in the area, you need to go here! Service was friendly and outgoing, and the atmosphere was absolutely delightful. The sticky bun is a must if you want to get a starter at breakfast time! The hand tomato pie was yummy as well! The island gumbo was the best gumbo I have tasted in my entire life. The Korean chicken and waffles are SO good I cant even explain it. I would recommend that dish especially if you like kimchi. If you are looking for a place to go eat on Hilton Head Island, this is the place to spend your money!!!”

“We have recently moved to Beaufort and I was given a gift certificate to Miramare. We invited our new neighbors to join us and we enjoyed a wonderful evening with excellent food. We started with Brochette that was excellent! Salads were excellent and I am not a fan of ranch dressing but tried it and it was delicious. The ravioli was good but I think I would try another entree next time that might be more filling. The halibut I was told was excellent and my husband had chicken parmesan that he said was delicious! We enjoyed great deserts and wine and will definitely return soon! Great job, nice people and the atmosphere reminded me of a European cafe!”

The Burrito Americana is huge, large enough to fill our teenage sons by itself, which isn't easy. My wife and I have gone their and ordered simple things like taco salad, tacos, and enchiladas and received the food WITHIN TWO MINUTES! Fast food at a good sit down restaurant. Very impressive. Last night, I got a soup, Siente mares, I think. It had seven types of seafood, shrimp, mussels, octopus, squid, scallops, imitation crab meat, and another. It was unique in that the broth smelled like seafood. It was excellent. Do yourself a favor and take your family to Maria's”

“Looks like many of the places you would find at the beach with exceptions. The food is wonderful! We had chicken wings that have great flavor and fall right off the bone. We got both hot and mild. The burger is huge and very well made. The turkey wrap was delicious and the chicken fingers are very good meat. Very impressed with the service and quality of food. I would recommend this place to anyone. We will be coming back this trip and other trips we make in the future.”
