Sorry YOU missed the soul of what was going on. I could only be so lucky. Bottom line, when you find #TasteofGullah by all means eat like there's no tomorrow! AND, (by all means) ask questions when you're there. Learn about the things you don't understand.. They have a great educational storytelling program that goes out all over the place. Now that many people are homeschooling it would be a great idea to set up a history lesson with " A taste of Gullah" and the Gullah Geechie. Believe it or not,( LOL not that I did! )...but possum and even raccoon and squirrel are mainstays of the traditional Southern diet.”

Heather is always so pleasant and really seems to take pride in making sure the customer gets exactly what they want. I started with a burrito but have been enjoying the bowls more than ever! “Fantastic twist on Mexican food! A must try on Folly Road on the way to Folly Beach! 5 delicious tacos set you back $19 and they will make them however you please. My wife and I shared barbacoa, carnitas and carne asada tacos with salsa and queso. They were delicious! We had a queso fundito appetizer and margaritas which set the meal up for success. Mary-Francis was our lovely server. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and timely. Well done Mary-Francis! Thank you for the fantastic service and food!”

“I went to Black Magic Cafe for the first time this morning at their location in West Ashley. As soon as I walked through the door, I was blown away by the design and feel of the place. It has a great vibe with chill music playing in the background and a very friendly wait staff. I ordered a cup of coffee that was smooth and savory along with the sausage, egg and cheese pancakes...AMAZING! I had an opportunity to chat with the owner during breakfast. He is a very kind, down to earth individual who is passionate about his restaurants and quality in general, from the food to the staff to the design of the building. Great food! cool owner! This will be my new spot.”

“Great food and fantastic service! The owners are super nice and really want to make you happy. I would have a few recommendations for the owners in terms of the food. 1. For your "Mixed Greens" - I would recommend not using iceberg lettuce and actually using a mixed greens/spring mix that you would find in a store. Something like spinach, romaine, arugula, etc. 2. For our boba tea, I'd recommend putting more ice in the drink. All of my ice melted before the drink was able to get super cold. Besides that I think this is a great place. I'd recommend checking it out.”

“The atmosphere is everything you'd hope for in a cozy, French wine bar. The food, wine, and staff are amazing! Jordan and Pedro are incredibly attentive and go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. I'm gluten free and the bar stocks gluten free crackers for their charcuterie boards. I mentioned a great brand of gluten free baguettes to Jordan and the next time I came in (less than a week later!) he had gone to the store to pick some up for the bistro. Truly made my day!”
