You will need to park in a nearby garage or find a parking meter. “Coffee cold. Forgot the strawberry freeze I ordered. No hot water for tea. Had to dip ice out of a bin because the drink dispenser's icemaker was out of order. Cashier had to get us butter for the bread from behind the order counter. Seems like every employee, including the manager, was more interested in closing up than waiting on the paying customers. We got to the restaurant at 8 PM and they close at 9 PM.”

There is larger seating for groups and out of the way corners for personal study and work. “I haven't been to Schlotzsky's in ages, after a nondescript, uneventful experience at a Schlotzsky's near our home-town in Virginia Beach decades ago. It wasn't bad, but I remember it not really being all that good, either, but we met some couple friends for lunch in Charleston & they wanted to meet here, so we did. I'm so glad that we did! I had the roast beef sub & it was very good. We will definitely add that back onto our list of places to go for fast, good sandwiches.”
