“Found this while looking up pizza places while on vacation with the family. Fam's turned out to be an excellent find! The food was all delicious, from the appetizers to the pizza to the garlic parmesan "sprinkle" they put on top of various items. Good drink selection, with great craft beers and good cocktails. They also had decent daily specials, which we took advantage of. Our server was friendly and attentive. Great family atmosphere as well. Would definitely return next visit to Charleston!”

There was NO comparison. Melvin's was tastier, moister than Chili's. I love brisket & it is hard to find someone to do it right. Well, my search is over. PLUS, the cashier was SO friendly. “OH MY GOODNESS!!! This place is so good! I'm glad my husband and I found it. It was our last night in Charleston and we looked up black owned restaurants. This restaurant popped up with great reviews and stated it was featured on Food Network. The food was absolutely delicious. For an appetizer we had the shrimp stuff with crab wrapped in bacon - amazing! For our entrees we had the Catfish Charleston and Catfish Tacos - amazing! For dessert we had lemon blueberry cheesecake - amazing! The cornbread - absolutely amazing! Everything we had was amazing! It was one of our favorite places we visited. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was very friendly and inviting. We definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in Charleston!”
