“ITSURWIENER is a weird restaurant, split into the restaurant section and the bar section. I can't attest to the latter, but the way the restaurant works is as follows: you order what you want at the counter (I got two hot dogs) and when they are ready, you go to a second area where you can see all the toppings - think Subway or Moe's. The gimmick is that there are a ton of different (and unusual) toppings you can get. One notable topping is apple sauce (???). The hot dogs themselves were pretty good, and didn't taste or feel boiled, like at Skins. I was really disappointed by the mac-and-cheese I got on one of my hot dogs. It was kind of mealy and didn't really taste like any mac and cheese I've ever enjoyed. The space is huge, which makes it really noticeable when it's empty, which was the case for both of my visits. I really want to like ITSURWIENER, as hot dogs are one of my favorite foods, but I can't give it anything better than a 3/5. It's okay, but the massive empty space and overabundance of unnecessary toppings are kind of a bummer.”

“In moving to a new area, it takes time to amass a personal list of favorite restaurants. In upstate SC this is especially a challenge with its too numerous fast-food chains, fried chicken & BBQ joints or one-off buffet establishments. Happily, we discovered Bake & Cook a few years ago. While the restaurant’s interior is bland its food is anything but. Instead, each dish is freshly prepared and carefully presented. The Thai centric menu is diverse and the food is always delicious and healthy! We are deeply appreciative patrons.”

“This was a fantastic lunch! Meatloaf Grinder (sandwich) and baked potato salad- with a great craft beer! Dog friendly! Our Coal gave it a paws up- waitress brought a dog bowl of water, and she even brought him a little treat when she brought our lunches! Awesome! We will definitely be back!”

“The members are very appreciative and seem to enjoy living there. The views are breathtaking and the homes there all have such mountain charm. The activities are good with lake living, tennis, fitness, three pools (one for the children), golf and a new driving range is in the making which should be completed the summer of 2019. The food at the Reserves Clubhouse is delightfully flavored and cooked to perfection. The food at the Market and the main pool will not disappoint all of which uses the best quality for the members and invited guests satisfaction. The employees say they are happy to work there and display extreme accommodating hospitality. This is a place to see before making any decisions for building a summer or retirement home.”

“We went here with a large party who was visiting from out of town. Their cocktail menu is great, the bread with the selection of house butters was very good as well as the calamari. The flavor of the fried green tomatoes was good in flavor however they were not tender. It did take a bit for things to arrive at our table however it was not a ridiculous amount of time, I do like that they take reservations. I am hard to impress with spaghetti sauce and theirs impressed me, I highly recommend it. In short I would definitely go back.”

“This could be our favorite place to go and we went a lot at first. The salads are amazing. Very fresh. The appetizer with goat cheese reminds me of when we lived in France. I love the cider, and the drink selection is great. I can actually digest the pizza, which is unusual for me. The parking is an issue, but not a killer. What ended it for me was the noise. There is zero damping, so we can't hear each other talking. It's so loud that my daughter was stressed the whole time and wanted to leave. It is stressful for me too. It's a shame, because the food and service are great. Get some damping and we'll be back for sure.”

“I've been to this McDonald's several times and always had a good experience. Both drive through and dine in experiences were pleasant, the food was hot and as ordered, the staff were nice and professional, and the store looked well kept on the dine in experiences. The only drawback to mention is location and by that I mean that depending on the time of day, traffic is heavy in that area, so getting in and out can take time and patience. But the staff is quick and timely about getting customers in and out as quickly as possible.”

“While visiting Clemson we picked Palmetto Smokehouse to have dinner. We have never visited before and new nothing about the restaurant. What a nice surprise! I though parking might be an issue but just to the left there is a driveway/road that goes past the little store and up a hill, at top to the right there is plenty of parking and we were told we could park in the green(slightly faded) spots. Once we were in the restaurant it was early for dinner so not anyone there, around 5:30. We were waited on quickly by Brian C. He was pleasant and friendly and took very good care of us. He even refilled my tea without me having to ask. We had some left over Shrimp and grits which we asked for a box, he offered to box it up and we discovered when we got ready to heat it up later he had put additional cheese on it, nice surprise. Brian did several things that were nice touches and we really enjoyed our visit. I had the Pulled Pork dinner with collards and a loaded baked potato. Everything was delish. We would definitely recommend this place and if in the area will come again.”
