“Loved the bowl I got and tried new options I hadn't had. They let us sample the sauces to make an informed decision. Everything was delicious and they give you a lot. Even with a hearty portion, you still don't leave feeling heavy or sick. Can't wait to come back!”

“As a boricua, you can imagine my surprise when I found out there was a Puerto Rican cafe right in my backyard. How did I miss this? I thought I was the only Rican here! With imported coffee coming from the homeland and coquí frogs decorated around their menu, I felt right at home. I can’t wait to show my other family members this spot when they come to visit. Not only that, but their coffee and baked goods are delicious. The coffee beats any other shops around, there is no bitter aftertaste. The pastelillos are flaky with the perfect amount of guava. My husband loves their quesitos as well. If you are an iced coffee lover like I am, the Stumphouse Tunnel or S’more, are an absolute must!”

“A hidden gem. Driving by, I had seen the sandwich board for “Mary’s Grill” and kept scanning the nearby storefronts trying to find it. Finally I purposely went looking for it after stopping for gas. This is a food trailer underneath the billboards by the Ace Hardware. It’s almost completely hidden to eastbound traffic. I stopped there with the wife two days later. Folks were pleasant and courteous. We tried one of the pork tamales ($2.75) and a couple of the passionfruit (maraculla) aguas frescas. We were very happy with the flavor and seasoning of the tamale. It was very tasty, and the aquas frescas were of a generous size and very refreshing. We decided to try their tres leches cake as well, and it was very good. Besides the trailer, tables have been placed under canopies to provide a place to eat protected from the sun. I believe there was a porta potty there as well for restroom needs.”

“Our Shell station is geared to help cover "a little bit of everything" to neat, local type items, normal goods, Beer Cave, Wine, Fish Bait, Ice, and just an overall good choice of items carried. Geared to help "Lakels" who may have forgotten items needed for a day on the lake, and great gas prices to boot!”

“I've been eyeing this new restaurant for awhile, so me and my boyfriend decided to try it. It was worth it! It was dead when we got there, but hey, we love a quiet restaurant sometimes. The place is a little bit small, but I love its interior. Me and my boyfriend both fell in love with their dish. We tried some of their features, like the Tuna Crudo and Pork Belly bao bun, and both were perfection! Their Rockefeller may be one of the best oysters that I've ever had. I had the catch of the day (salmon), and the taste was awesome. My boyfriend was curious about the Cajun dumplings, and boy, that dish didn't disappoint us. The drinks were fabulous as well! The food was a little bit pricey, but it was all worth it. We had a great experience, from service to food. Kudos to the owner and chef! A must-visit place indeed. Will definitely visit this place again.”
