“After reading some of the negative reviews on here I ended up staying the night. It was inexpensive and on my way into the black hills, was going to camp but it was rainy and chilly so I stopped for the night. I did not experience any negative like some people complaining about. The two ladies working were friendly and chatty. Especially the new gal that just started! Room wasn’t top notch but hey for a room under $40 I’m no complaining. Was a pretty quiet stay, room size was prefect for a single person. The only complaint is the bed. Way too soft for me but I’m used to a firm bed. The town was awesome! Worth walking the city and heading up to the cemetery if your up for a nice hike up the hill. Thanks ladies for the great evening.”

“Good food, small restaurant offering tasty, pleasing breakfast fare. Price reasonable, good seating, flavors good, home cooked atmosphere relaxing. Not particularly hurried at the service end. Remember you're there to relax and kick back, not to beat the clock.”

“This wonderful restaurant is located in the Deadwood lodge and casino. The steaks were delicious and the customer service was on par. The aesthetics are pleasing with a homey feel to it. I tried the buffalo ribeye which was decent. Check it out if you’re in the area.”

“Staying next door and after a long day of traveling decided to grab something close and gamble a bit. Three of us dining, two had steaks and I had the crab. Waitress didn’t bring out the food, two kids did. Actually never saw the waitress at our table again, but I could see her standing in the back. Anyway, food came out and it was good, nothing to brag about but good. Crab crackers would have helped with ease of eating. Asked the buser for some, but English wasn’t her native language and I got ice water, which I was thankful for since I never got my drink. Oh, and crab is served with butter flavored oil not butter, the stuff used on popcorn. That was gross. Slots are super tight, casino very small.”

“Salsa was glorified tomato juice no veggies bland flavor. Ordered two hardshell chicken tacos. Bland taste but plenty of meat and cheese. Conveniently in the casino hotel area so parking wasn't an issue”

“Absolutely a 5 star experience, both days! Breakfast with my wife, ambience and view are perfect for a nice peaceful meal. The food is incredible and the prices are really fair considering the quality of food and portion size. The chopped steak with sausage gravy was amazing and the filet my wife had was super tender and flavorful. I HIGHLY recommend eating a meal here, I’m confident you will not be disappointed!”

“Super impressed with Tin Lizzie and Paddy O’Neill’s in Deadwood. Food was good. Service was fast and hyper professionally good. Huge screens to watch sports with super cush blue leather recliners. The kid got a kick out of the food runner robots 🤖 too! So fun 🤩”

“We always enjoy eating here with friends! It's a great atmosphere and the food is always amazing! I've never had a bad meal while dining here. I'd recommend making a reservation so you know you'll have seating. If you like old fashions, I also recommend theirs with four roses bourbon! Highly recommend this place!”

“I had the chicken fried steak with for lunch and it was excellent- tender and delicious! We also had Buffalo Salisbury with gravy and it was also tender and delicious. Crystal was our server and was pleasant attentive and efficient while tending to the entire area herself! Awesome food and service and good prices. We did enjoy the historic photos and descriptions also .”

“My review is only for the bar replica downstairs. It was like $10 or$20 bucks for entry buy or was pretty cool to see what the shootout might have looked like. The little room off to side was pretty cool. I love seeing stuff like this.”

“I had honestly stumbled upon the location. They had great service. Our server was very helpful and was very fast to respond to any request. All that I ordered turned out to be some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommended!”

“If you have not been here lately...it is an absolute MUST!!!! Renovated and modern on the main floor but kept the nostalgia of the building and upstairs hotel! Great service, lovely staff, and the owner is so personable and welcomes you in like family. Kids are welcome, pizza available! Although I loved the nostalgia its the best I've seen it! I applaud you sir 👏 🙌 Oyster shooter available, if you haven't tried, put on your bucket list!!”

“Enjoyed the food. Great selection of drinks. Decent price. The waitress was very attentive and got a bowl of water for our dog. Very dog friendly patio area. It's also very close to the celebrity hotel so you can see and hear the shenanigans from here when doing the shootouts.”

“Deadwood Pizza Factory is a great place to stop in Deadwood. The pizza was amazing! We got a meat lovers and it had so much cheese on it, but still not too greasy. The service was fantastic. I highly recommend this pizza place. Main Street was so fun to explore- especially at night. If you’re looking for somewhere good to stop for food and drinks this is your place!”

“Great Rocky Mountain oysters!! Best we’ve ever had. Drinks weren’t bad. Chicken friend steak was also pretty good.”

“Service was great. Food was mediocre, but high prices for what we got. Overall it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything that deserves 4 or 5 stars. A simple meal for two was $40. We got fried shrimp with fries, and the deadwood dip with fries. The meat on the deadwood dip was a little dry but not terrible. I will try other places around deadwood before coming back here.”

“Troy made our experience nice. It was our 41st anniversary. Rib eye was amazing, baked potato fluffy and asparagus was perfect. We got desert for our anniversary and it was complementary. It was a bit noisy, but maybe some table cloths or something on the wall to cut the noise and it would be perfect. Will definitely come back. Ask for Troy. He was amazing”

“This was pretty good but they should update their online menu. Prices and all. Side options are different. What was once 2 sides is one on their physical menu. Lamb bolagnese was great and the Buffalo ravioli appetizer was great except the mediocre sauce. I felt like they dumped a can of crushed tomatoes on the dish🤣🤣🤣 classy! The chocolate mocha martini was phenomenal and Troy, yep I remember his name, was great, no complaints whatsoever for him, thanks for great service there. Come early, they sell out at a decent time of the good stuff 😂 oh and you probably should serve fresh water that hasn't been sitting for God knows how long. It was not cold and the glass wasn't even sweating with no ice... 4 out of 5 ⭐”

“Had our wedding and reception at this beautiful, historic venue. We're so elated that we chose this location. The elegant ballroom was the absolute perfect place to hold such a celebration. The owners of the establishment are so incredibly kind, generous and helpful. The immense amount of love and work they have put into the building is apparent and they give the same treatment to their patrons and everyone else who walks through their doors. The rooms are very luxurious, each one of them is different and walking into them is like stepping back in time. They all feature many authentic antiques and historically accurate furnishings. Really feels like you're living in the old days of Deadwood. Overall, we are overjoyed beyond words with our experience here. We give thanks from the bottom of our hearts to M & B for every single thing they did for us leading up to and on our big day. We are forever grateful you were a part of it. TLDR: I truly can't recommend this hotel and it's people enough. 1000/10 stars”

“The breakfast was great! I got a breakfast croissant and hubby got biscuits and gravy with sausage. The sausage patties are hand formed. The gravy is made from scratch. It was all just a great home cooked meal. If you have to wait for a table...it is well worth it. I don't go around saying that cause I hate waiting. Go there! You won't regret it!”

“Located in the basement of the building, this pizza is fantastic by any standards. Thin crust that is crisp on the bottom but still has good softness and chew. Flavorful sauce and a good balance of cheese and toppings. The pretzel bites were also killer. Great service by friendly staff as well.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Historic Iron Horse Inn & Casino! It is in town, so close to Main St. where most everything is. Cheri was the best! So great to help us with our needs! The bed was comfortable. The bathroom consists of the toilet and shower, and the sink and vanity area (good size) is outside of the bathroom in the edge of the room....ideal if there are more than 2 people. The best part about the room was a huge ceiling fan with a great LED light fixture that you can turn off separately! They also have a/c. Iron Horse is an older hotel with wood doors and real keys. It has character for those who can appreciate that. The parking lot is small, so they assign your parkingThere is a pool table and foosball in the lobby, and a great pizza place that serves both on the lobby and downstairs at Stan & Ollie's bar & restaurant. The pizza is delicious! I recommend the Iron Horse for you stay in Deadwood!”

“A great low-key pub with tasty food at affordable prices. The drinks and appetizers were half off during happy hour. We tried the chicken fried bacon with raspberry jalapeño sauce and Cracklin' Pollo. Both were amazing. The bartender was super friendly and let us know when they have live music. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for some unique tastes.”

“We stopped in here to try it out. While the atmosphere was unique, the wine flight we had tasted soapy. Like the tubes weren't rinsed all the way out. There were three of us and every single one of us had the same opinion. Other than that, this place was fun and prices were solid. They have a cool gift shop and the staff were nice. Get a table upfront and do some people watching!”
