We are lunch upstairs in the Social Club. The menu is limited and we were surprised that it had an Italian theme. All of the beers upstairs are bottled and there is a full bar. We had a Caesar salad, bruschetta, and the #10 burger with a side salad. All were very good! We just wished that the service was as good as the food.🤷♂️
This was pretty good but they should update their online menu. Prices and all. Side options are different. What was once 2 sides is one on their physical menu. Lamb bolagnese was great and the Buffalo ravioli appetizer was great except the mediocre sauce. I felt like they dumped a can of crushed tomatoes on the dish🤣🤣🤣 classy! The chocolate mocha martini was phenomenal and Troy, yep I remember his name, was great, no complaints whatsoever for him, thanks for great service there. Come early, they sell out at a decent time of the good stuff 😂 oh and you probably should serve fresh water that hasn't been sitting for God knows how long. It was not cold and the glass wasn't even sweating with no ice... 4 out of 5 ⭐
I can't begin to tell the fun we had at Saloon 10. The reenactment of the Wild bill story was truly a highlight of my stay in Deadwood. The bar is full of historical memorabilia from the towns past. Bartenders were very good
I spent the better part of 4-hours walking around the historic area. Deadwood is known as the place where Jack McCall shot Wild Bill Hickok while he was playing poker in a saloon. I began my visit at the Welcome Center. You can park for free here and the historic area is just an easy walk away. Be sure to talk to the employees at the Welcome Center as they can give you great insight into just about every aspect of the Historic Town. Be sure to pick up a map, it will make life a lot easier. Once in historic town you will find several restaurants, casinos, shops, each with its own old west them. The one thing that added to my enjoyment was that all the casinos and restaurants were smoke free and really catered to tourists. Now most of the town burned to the ground a few years ago after Wild Bill was shot, so you must understand that none of the building were the ones here in 1876. None the less, the historic part of Deadwood has capitalized on is old west notoriety. I stopped at the original site of the #10 Saloon, which was where Wild Bill was shot while holding the Dead Man’s Hand of aces and eights. I was able to just walk in and watch the reenactment of Jack McCall shooting Wild Bill. It was definitely entertaining and worth seeing. After the reenactment, I had lunch here. Everybody was associated with the saloon was great and the food was really good. I even got to meet Wild Bill who stopped by to visit while I was eating. I enjoyed my visit to the #10 Saloon and to the Historic Town of Deadwood.
Stayed in deadwood for a few days and this is was our watering hole for the time we were in town. Dan the bartender was great. Very friendly and attentive. Travis who plays wild bill is just as awesome. His reenactment is worth watching. Not only entertaining but very informative as well. A major must for adults looking to get out of the heat and have a cold beer or liquor especially if you like whiskey. They have 220 different whiskey, bourbons, and scotches. Not to mention all the other liquor you commonly find behind a bar. This is the only place I’ll drink from here on out when I’m in deadwood.
