Mavericks Steak & Cocktails

The steaks and ribs were very good of course you're above the gambling area and my grandchildren loved it as you can see they had small hamburger and macaroni and cheese definitely kid friendly enjoyed

Wow!!! Best meal we’ve had in a long time. Amazing steaks, ribs, garlic mash and the rolls are fantastic!!! Our waiter was top notch!!! I forget his name but he was from California originally and moved to deadwood. He was a great server and knowledgeable about the town! 5 stars well deserved!!

On the night of august 15th, some friends and I came here for dinner. We agreed to meet at the bar of Mavericks.Upon walking up the stairs to the restaurant, the host who later informed me he was the manager told me they were at a 1.5 hour wait. It seemed as if he was urging me away from the establishment, while many tables including the bar area were unoccupied. After walking downstairs I found out my friends we’re already sitting at the bar, so I came back up and asked the host if I could join them. It seemed as if he did not believe that I was with them. The gentleman (host/manager) was rather rude and did not make me feel welcome at mavericks. The steak I ordered was delicious but the service left me feeling uncomfortable.

I got the pulled pork plate and the fried pickles. The pickles are French fry profile which I know can be controversial. The pulled pork was very tasty. Unfortunately I can’t remember the bar tenders name but he was very friendly and provided excellent service.

During the Sturgis Rally 2021, on one visit, I ate at the Bar. I ordered a grilled chicken queso sandwich, and it was very good. On my second visit I ordered the Spring Chicken Salad, and it was very good as well. My Buddy had the pork ribs, steamed broccoli, and garlic mashed potatoes. He ate all of it with no complaints. The service was good.
