“After reading some of the negative reviews on here I ended up staying the night. It was inexpensive and on my way into the black hills, was going to camp but it was rainy and chilly so I stopped for the night. I did not experience any negative like some people complaining about. The two ladies working were friendly and chatty. Especially the new gal that just started! Room wasn’t top notch but hey for a room under $40 I’m no complaining. Was a pretty quiet stay, room size was prefect for a single person. The only complaint is the bed. Way too soft for me but I’m used to a firm bed. The town was awesome! Worth walking the city and heading up to the cemetery if your up for a nice hike up the hill. Thanks ladies for the great evening.”

“This is a really enjoyable course to play. The front 9 is in a new housing development distinguished by a dramatic drop in elevation on hole 5 and bunkers formed to look like elk tracks. But the bright stars are on the back 9. Holes 12, 13, and 14 in particular are stunning. Nice facilities. Helpful staff. Check it out!”

“The brewery is in the perfect location, right off the creek. Our waitress was wonderful. The beer is delicious— I had the Blood Orange Blonde and a sip of the Cadillac Couch (both very good). “Had 2 places we were going to try this morning and both were unexpectedly closed. Took a chance on this little place after hearing about it, yesterday. It was cozy inside with a fireplace and several seating options. We split a scrambler bowl and a decaf Mountain Fog. The bowl (4 eggs, sausage, cheddar, and spinach) was a good idea. Unfortunately, there was not enough sausage or spinach ($1.00 extra) to keep it interesting. The spicy Mayo was a good choice. I had never tried that before and liked the idea of it on eggs. The Mountain Fog was delicious. Interesting decor. My only complaint about the atmosphere is that in such a cozy, comfortable hideaway, there would be such dark and disturbing images on the walls. The images of people falling into Hell, or of Alice(?) carrying a severed head, were completely incongruous with the simple Country vibe present in the rest of the Bistro.”

“Cool place! The food was excellent. Apparently, they only have a brunch menu on Sunday. The burgers are really good: thick, tasty patties and good buns. The fries are delicious, and really unique. The Brisket Egg Benedict was good, too. Prices aren't exactly cheap, but fits the quality of food + restaurant itself. It's a very pleasant atmosphere, with a nice view out the many big windows. The service was great. The bar looks nice. Highly recommend! 👍👍”

“At first I didn’t want to go to this place, they had only 3 menu items left but my brother insisted and I got a sandwich. This is probably the best burger I have ever tried. The meat is cooked on real fire wood and you taste the amazingness of the meat. I don’t like beans but the way these are made, are fantastic, I ate them all. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Try them you won’t regret.”

“Was not overly impressed. I feel there was poor attention to the buffets. They were out of chicken ~ out of mashed potatoes ~almost out of gravy. At the salad table there were out of tomatoes, green peppers, and there was no spoon (no whatever) in the black olives. I realize they were trying to correct all these " shortages" but they should've been taken care of before it got to this point”

“Staying next door and after a long day of traveling decided to grab something close and gamble a bit. Three of us dining, two had steaks and I had the crab. Waitress didn’t bring out the food, two kids did. Actually never saw the waitress at our table again, but I could see her standing in the back. Anyway, food came out and it was good, nothing to brag about but good. Crab crackers would have helped with ease of eating. Asked the buser for some, but English wasn’t her native language and I got ice water, which I was thankful for since I never got my drink. Oh, and crab is served with butter flavored oil not butter, the stuff used on popcorn. That was gross. Slots are super tight, casino very small.”

I’m in a wheelchair and the handicapped stall was too small for my wheelchair and weirdly hidden behind the door. I had to fight to get squeezed in enough to relieve myself, and barely had room to move. Everything else was amazing, that part kind of just sucked a little.”

“Came because we had a gift certificate to use and so glad we did because it was a great experience. Very cool atmosphere, delicious food and drinks. Husband said that was the best philly sandwich he's ever had. My stadium salad with beef tips was delicious as well and our 13 year old couldn't stop raving about her wrap. She kept showing me how good it looked inside haha The waitress was also very friendly and attentive and the others weren't afraid to put some team effort in and help run food too which was nice. I was a waitress for 15 years so that says something cuz I tend to be picky about the service when we go places but she and her team mates did a great job.”
