“Stopped by to get some chow to take home. Was surprised by the large and inviting inside. I got a half rack and a half pound of pp. Also got a 12oz of bb. The ribs were unbelievably delicious. No sauce needed. I usually roll my eyes when I say it the best I’ve had but… The pulled pork was tightly wrapped to keep the juices and boy was it good as well. Going along w the Texas theme, the beans have a lil bite to them but the are worth the sweat. This all may sound like a paid review but trust me, the food slaps!”

“I was excited to hear Jack's is open again. This time they are a little different, they now offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Compared to before Jack's had tiny microwavable sandwiches but this time, Angela and her team cook them home made. I had breakfast casserole which was amazing, with some buiscuts and gravy delicious. They also offer coffee and sweet tea, I grabbed me a half pound bag of beans for $6. Thanks guys your awesome”

“Amazing views, great food, puppy friendly outdoor covered deck. Lovely October Day for our first visit. It took awhile to get the server out there but they were hopping. Our server was super friendly and she got our order correct. We loved the freshness of the food! The burnt end nachos were crazy good! My partner absolutely loved the chips. We also shared the double burger which also was very fresh and cooked perfect: The cheese grits were phenomenal! Brews are great. Did I mention that stellar view? Wonderful first visit!”

“The best food in the area! The waitress was great, the owner was great, and the owner's family were great! Overall a great experience. The prices are fair for this level of quality. It's like I was rediscovering scallops for the first time, and they far exceeded any scallops I've had before. The sea bass and crab cakes were both fantastic as well. “For the most part, I enjoyed my meal. Two suggestions: The burger was over "smashed" to the point that about 2" of the meat was sticking out the sides of the bun. From the pictures displayed in the dining room, the burgers should not be like that. I'm sure it is just a training adjustment for the new cooks so I hope you correct that. When the meat is that paper thin, it was hard and crunchy. Never had a crunchy burger before. Second I suggest some sound absorption material in the ceiling. Between the PA system being so distorted and the dining area being so loud, it sucked some of the enjoyment out of it for me. Almost gave me a headache it was so loud in there. Loved the fries and the custard. I'll be back and try again. Thanks.”

“My wife and I have been eating out more to support the local restaurants after the lock-down eased up. This place has a lot of potential with a few changes. The staff was friendly and attentive. The decor was nice and I though the location was good. My wife had Ranch Chicken and I had the open faced roast beef. We both thought the sides were pretty good. The chicken had been cooked ahead of time and microwaved WAY to much. It turned to rubber as all things tend to do in the microwave. She couldn't eat it. My roast beef had the same problem. It was very dry and difficult to cut. I was hoping for juicy and tender and I got dry and tough. My suggestion - ditch the microwave(s). Be a chef, not a re-heater - cook fresh and hot even if it takes a little longer. We'll wait. We will come in again and will update then.”
