“This restaurant is amazing, my pizza was delivered quickly. They have the perfect menu for our Friday family night. I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza which is one of our favorites. The cheese is high quality. They are so generous on the garlic sauce and they even added a big bowl of marinara sauce too! I wish there was a way to add a photo of our delicious dinner to my review!”

“The Southern is a downtown Nashville place where locals go to eat. There are plenty of tourists as well, but you know if it’s a local favorite it has to be good. The bathrooms are honestly too few for ladies but you have to go to see the movie they have going to keep you occupied and I always seem to have nice conversations with people in line. Our favorite dishes there are the ribs, the BBQ shrimp (not that spicy), the blue cheese and steak biscuits. The blue cheese flavor is subtle) Don’t pass on the offered bread at your table because they are small pops of cheesy herb biscuits that will get your mouth watering for what’s to come! If you still have room at the end, the bread pudding is great but you have to dip it in the sauce on your plate for the full flavor. Enjoy!”

I was being checjed out by a gentleman and she rudely intercepted by stating to him he was not supposed to be behind the counter. “Wow! Its rare that I rate a place on the very 1st visit but I'm genuinely impressed by this place. You walk in and the atmosphere is nice and simple/relaxing. You got salsa playing in the speakers so automatically its completely different from any other coffee spot I've been to in Nashville. The menu has a great selection. There's a balance of traditional Latin dishes mixed with American fare. Please order the arepas they're great! The coffee was on point and so well presented. Was not expecting the presentation to be as nice. Other coffee shops in Nashville may have a buzz but this has been my absolute favorite as a whole experience. Hopefully they keep consistent because any time I'm in the area I will definitely be a customer. Awesome place!”

“I had the blessing of being invited to the soft opening of Hook’s last night!! Trust me when I say, delicious is an understatement when describing this food!! The food was fresh and seasoned to perfection!! I had the Hook’s Combo and believe me when I say, they did not hold back on the crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, or the corn!! I’ve been thinking about it all day, so I can’t wait to go back for the grand opening! Service...excellent, location...perfect, and the food SPECTACULAR!!
