“The best meal in Grainger County! We came for the special one Friday evening and left stuffed, happy, and looking forward to coming back. The food was excellent. I have to mention the fried feta cheese appetizer, as I’m pretty sure it’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I had their daily special, which really was SPECIAL! Half a pineapple filled with lime rice, hand battered butterfly coconut shrimp, Hawaiian sirloin kebab with steak, onion, and pineapples, a grilled and butter Hawaiian roll, crab salad, and some Pina Colada sauce for dipping. It was fantastic! Our waitress was very attentive and took wonderful care of us. We will be back!”

“The Tenders was fantastic. The breading was perfect and crunchy seasoned well some of the best I've had! And the fact you pulled up and ordered on the screen yourself was super cool. But downside, my toast was soft and super soggy, and my fries tasted like they were sitting in a warmer for 2 hours they were also super soft and soggy. Other than that it was a nice place for a quick bite decent prices as well.”

“Cute vintage country store. Bought homemade sourdough cinnamon bread. It was so good. They have a variety of items for sale, along with jams, jellies, and candy.They have really great sandwiches and burgers that you can eat at the couple of tables inside, the picnic table outside or you can do takeout. So good. We will be going back for sure.”

“My husband and I are huge fans of Weber BBQ in Bean Station! Staff is super friendly. Meat is smoked on site daily and always tender and juicy!! We love their Mac and cheese, made with white cheddar cheese and super cheesy!! “We had heard a lot of good things about the Little Dipper and decided to take the drive from Knoxville to Blaine to try it out. We were very pleased. The burgers are great, hand patted beef, not frozen. Everything we ordered was great. The owner Gina came out and talked to us for a while, she is very hands on at her place. We will be back.”

“If you are young and have a mouth full of teeth you might enjoy the chicken tenders (tenders??? NOT) and French Fries (Hammers most of the time). If you want golden brown tenders you better go some where else- they are dark, dark brown here. And if you ask them to short the cooking time by 30 seconds- they say they can't. It's odd that once in a while you actually get golden brown ones- why not always? It's just a shame to throw the fries away and chip all the crust off the chicken and eat the meat only which is cooked dry and lost it's good flavor- especially the first of the month (the only time some people can afford to eat out). Would have given 1 star except for the rare occasion that you get edible food- then it's delicious.”

“Wow! The memories brought back every time I visit. Hadn't been there for many years since I live in Wyoming. Used to make a vacation of it driving with my folks when we lived in Baltimore, I was very young. Had looked forward to a visit on the mountain and happily found the restaurant still going strong tho I do miss the bears. Had another great meal and a slice of the vinegar pie, the pie is always good! Looking forward to another visit this summer. Must stay in touch with all the cousins living in LaFollette. Would love to stay in one of the cabins this time. Such a clean place and the best people there, everyone is so friendly! If you get the chance, stop for a visit. Breathtaking views from Clinch. Take pictures for sure. Wonderful time, just can't say enough about the visits. Takes me back to happier times. Pure fun! Wishing the best to the folks in the restaurant!!”

“The cauliflower pizza crust was great! The service was meh. It started off fairly well..I was told to sit wherever I wanted. The server took my drink order and order and brought me a drink and 1 drink refill before my pizza came out. When the pizza came, she brought me sprinkle cheese at my request. It took a very long time for the pizza to come out, but with a specialty crust, I guess that it is what it is. The bill was brought out with the pizza and the server was never seen near my table again. No asking if I wanted a box, another drink, or anything else. ( The pizza was so good that I ate the whole thing since I had nothing to take it home with anyway) The last I had of my server was a glimpse of her as she was heading to Family Dollar. I am usually a very good tipper, but not this time. I will give this place another chance sometime since Cauliflower crust is a pretty cool thing for a restaurant to carry. I hope I can rate it higher next visit.”

“We both had cheeseburgers, and we really liked them. The hand-ground burgers were very tasty, and the crinkle-cut French fries and fried okra were nice and crisp. We sat outside to have a view of the water. All the burgers on the menu were less than $9 each. The waitress and rest of the staff were attentive and helpful, and if we're looking for a sit-down place for burgers and fries again, we'll come back.”
