“I’ve never eaten here before as I usually arrive at the airport not hungry and just in time for my flight. However, thanks to a flight delay (actually bumped) we decided to have lunch here. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was attentive and our food was good. Bonus: I was able to watch a college basketball game that I had planned to miss and also watched the beginning of the first semi final NFL playoff before we boarded. I would eat here again. I had the BLT and the bacon was piled high. Please Let me know you read this by hitting the like. Thank you!”

“I've been here twice now. They have a lunch buffet for just under $7/person, but the options are lackluster at best. It seems to me that they make one set of food and leave it out under the hot lamps for hours, which of course dries out the food, yet they don't seem too concerned about refilling what was eaten. So, the food that is there is often dry and sparse. Additionally, the waitstaff for lunch seems to be at once skittish and nonchalant, and actually argued with me when I asked for something from the menu, insisting that the same dish that was in the buffet was good enough. (I got the feeling that the kitchen isn't very welcoming with orders at lunchtime). However, in the evening, they don't have that buffet, and everything is made to order, and here's where this place shines. When the food is fresh, it is well done. The evening waitstaff seems to be more caring and helpful. I highly recommend their Teriyaki Chicken - it is prepared sweeter than most other versions of the dish that I have had so far, and is somewhat reminiscent of the Honey Chicken dishes that are becoming more popular. In my experiences so far, the waitstaff and cashier have all spoken English, though for some the English is more broken, as is common with Chinese restaurants. In short: If it's lunch time, make sure to get carry-out; don't sit down. If it's dinner, prepare to have a great meal.”

“This place is awesome! You get so much food! And it's SOOOOO good! Like for real it's delicious. I'm so full but can't stop eating cuz it's so good! And the prices are not bad at all! If you crave hibachi go here! Oh and let me tell you about Christina! She was totally awesome! While waiting on my food she was very sweet & polite and very informative as I asked questions about the guy making sushi! The guy behind the register was very sweet & polite as well. It seemed as if everyone was working as a team & it's working! GO HERE!!”

“I got the small Everbowl with an almond butter drizzle on top and it was so delicious. The acai was creamy and thick which is my favorite consistency regarding smoothies and smoothie bowls. I ordered the smallest size and it was very filling for me. The fruit toppings on top was a generous size portion and I felt like the almond butter on top tied the whole bowl together. The only thing I didn't like was that the place closed at 5, but other than that it was really good. Can't wait to come back again!”

“1st order at New Popeyes on Gunbarrel was great. Service took less than 5 minutes at noonish with 1 car in front of me and everything correct. For $38 we had a 12 piece family meal half spicy and half classic, both were fine, and the cashier told us which pieces were which. Now this seems expensive compared to chick FIL a next door, but there is also more food. At that price point I doubt we'd go every week -- besides grilled or air fryer home cooked chicken is much cheaper and healthier. Plenty of well cooked fries. Red Beans n rice and biscuits as we remembered.... The popeyes biscuits have always had a kind of smell and taste that are not my favorite. All in all a good, if pricey, reboot of Popeyes in Chattanooga.”

“We've been driving by their sign on E. Brainerd Rd. for a while now, always meaning to stop in, but the timing was never right. last week the stars aligned and we stopped. And oh boy, these New Englanders are sure glad we did! The restaurant itself is bright and clean...always a big plus. The sweet young lady at the register area took our order and explained everything on the menu. We had the New England lobster 🦞 roll and fries. (The fries come seasoned if you desire.) Now the price is a little overwhelming but that is the price of a lobster roll, and truth be told, the price is (slightly) less than you would pay at the beach or in New England, so we were prepared. The rolls were individually prepared and stuffed with large chunks of lobster! Better than we've had in a long, long time! (I couldn't wait to bite in, so the picture does have an obvious bite out of the sandwich. 🤪) The owners were present and we took time to speak with them. They have a great product, and we hope they are successful and stay for a long, long time!”

“Fish and service were very good. I lived in Louisiana for a while so I’ve had some pretty good catfish before. This was the best I’ve had in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area. I got the variety platter which I think is the best deal on the menu because of how much you get (easily enough for 2 people or 1 really hungry person). The catfish and whiting were the best on it. The service was outstanding, the waitress was very friendly and even listened to my kids’ fish stories. It’s not a big dining area and was very packed but it didn’t seem to affect service at all. Owner came out a few times to interact with guests as well. You can tell he cares very much about running things well. Would definitely recommend and will likely come back.”

“This is more like a regular Mexican restaurant that happens to also serve shrimp and octopus. The interior is nice, the decor is dark unlike the typical colorful decor. Not a lot of fresh seafood options, most items are cooked or fried and not a lot of variety. The serve you chips and salsa upon arrival. Oysters were small. The fish ceviche was okay but was missing some flavor. The rice was weird, it had like pieces of beef and bacon so it was greasy. The owner was very attentive, he came by every 10-15min. Overall it was okay but I don't think I'll be going back.”

“My car broke down and i had to pull in here. i had to park in front of a dumpster there, and i asked if i could keep it there. they said no, but one of the employees, Rodney, helped me push my car into a safer spot in the hotel next door. Overall, given the circumstances, i had a very good experience here and Rodney went above and beyond to help me out!”

“Love this store, it's convenient to where I'm working at this time and all the employees are very friendly. I usually get gas energy drinks and a big cup of ice, that ice is a life saver when you work in the extreme heat as I do. I've also tried the chicken they make and it's extremely good..I would suggest trying it to anyone.”

“Overall the small Petro was very good and delicious. I gave the business 4 stars because the team members are still trying to work a few kinks out and it took them a while to complete my order because something was messed up with the register not splitting orders in half. Meaning that we had two separate orders in our car and it kept combining the orders and the cashier and manager did not know how to separate the bills and so it was a little bit inconvenient. I know with more training and time the team members will get better and I will update this review.”
