“I tried this place for the first time yesterday. It's small but packs a punch with outstanding BBQ. I normally don't like Baby Back ribs but theirs are meaty and smoky and succulent. I also had the brisket, nice smoke flavor in the Brisket. The Baked Beans and Mustard Potato Salad; no complaints. Overall it's great to know that when I'm craving BBQ there is a place to go to satisfy that craving.”

“So good and so close!!! Been wanting to go to 1885 for a while but we don't get downtown much at all and they built one practically in our backyard ????. Yay! It lived up to the hype. I'm into funky sandwiches and got the BLT. Yum! Loved the fried green tomatoes. Hubby loved the crab cakes and shrimp cocktail. Service was great too. Would recommend for sure!”

“Lots of flavor. If you've never had Indian food give it a try. Everyone tends to equate "spicy" with "hot." This isn't necessarily the case. It's a great change from bland food with which most people are familiar. They'll gladly let you sample the different dishes, so don't be afraid to ask!”

“The Champions Club lives up to its name. My husband and I moved here from Ohio and this is by far the best golf value we’ve found in Chattanooga. It’s significantly less than the other private clubs in the area and is even comparable to the public courses in terms of price. The facilities have improved significantly even since we joined, especially since the club redid the greens on the back 9 this summer. Pace of play is excellent... we can almost always play 18 in under 3 hours. If you’re on the fence about joining, I heard they’re offering a free round of golf to potential members. Definitely worth checking it out to see if you like it!”

“I've had a lot of NY style pizza in NY and the upper east coast. This place gets it right!!! From the cracker crisp to the crust and fold around the edge, to the cheese and sauce. We are HOOKED! It has been dang near impossible to find a true NY style outside of the NE. I would say the only thing missing would be the basil leaves and the garlic sprinkle on the tables, but that isn't a huge deal. This is my new favorite pizza place. The kitchen was immaculate. The employees are fantastic. Super sweet and nice. Most important, the pizza is awesome!!!”

“Yesterday I lost a bet, and had to buy lunch. I chose El Jinete, because it’s 1 of the 2 places I have been with decent food since I have moved to the area 2 months ago. When we placed the order over the phone I had my co-worker do so. He speaks Spanish fluently. I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later to find out we ordered at a different location. The gentlemen promptly called Athens location to cancel the order and remade it at the Ooltewah location. The food was fresh, good, and fast! Cost $$ Mexican authenticity ???? Americanized Mexican???? Overall a pleasant experience, and my co-workers enjoyed the tacos!”
