“We have been to Rio Salado twice. Cute decor and very clean. Both times we had very friendly service all around. The chips, salsa, and queso are wonderful!! We also got a very generous portion of guacamole. The tacos were a bit bland and rice needs some flavor. I’d prefer chicken breast for the fajitas but loved the veggies. Overall we had positive experiences each time and know they’ll improve in those areas over time. Happy to have them in Salado!”

“This very cultural Bistro is located on a street corner of a beautifully improved downtown area. With tables for two outside and spacious available seating inside, the deco is elegant yet simple, wonderful use of color, wood and concrete. It reminded me of dining in the Islands. My husband and I came to try out the food and their new Lemonade and Iced Tea I heard about. I had the Jerk Salmon, which was beautifully cooked, meat was moist and tender and not overdone, and wonderfully flavored. The salmon sat on a bed of Caribbean style lentils and rice which looked and tasted amazing. It was accompanied by a mango chutney and chili flavored pickly. Ever flavor of the dish complimented each other, never killed the other flavors and helped to enhance the salmon. We also had a Teriyaki Brussel Spouts appetizer, which had just a sprinkle of sesame seeds. My husband had the Bistro's Burger. From the first bite he never put it down. He didn't even add what he normally does to all burgers. That's saying a lot. The Tyku Bistro Signature Lemonade was a new addition! It was beautifully blended with light hints of fresh ginger and basil! You just have to have a glass, or take home a gallon, we did. We did not get to try the Iced Tea, we will have to go back another day. All-in-all, the ambiance, the food and the people were fantastic. I definitely recommend anyone that enjoys a taste of the Caribbean to make it point to stop by!????????????”

“I've always enjoyed the food at Rosa's. It's a "fast food" place but it definitely doesn't taste like it. Last night at around 10:00 pm, we had about 20 people and they got us through in no time. We had first gone to another restaurant and their manager had rolled his eyes at us. The employees were super friendly and so happy to serve us. I am so impressed what they did. They got the food out to us very quickly and without any mistakes. It was great.”
