“I walked into this restaurant on a Friday evening and it was quite busy. They were short on staff so it took a while to get my orders in or a refill on water. Luckily, the food came out good. The orange chicken was freshly fried and the batter was crispy. I could definitely taste the orange flavor in the dish since it was very strong. The rice was alright: a little bit on the hard side. The steamed dumplings were okay, though. The filling had a bit sourness to it which I didn't find appealing unless that's how they usually make it. The dough wrapping you could tell it was handmade. I have no complaints about the scallion pancakes.”

Probably reasonable as Freeport is a smallish town so likely not a huge demand for fresh fish. Nothing like Roses Seafood in Sea Brook; but then that's a totally different market (huge) and so it's really not a fair comparison. Yes, if in the area I would go back again.”

“A place to relax eating a good sandwich with your favorite beverage. Place looks like an old gas station. When we get inside, I had the feeling of being in a supermarket. So I felt a little lost, so I started browsing for the food. People behind the counter, kindly said hello and gave us a paper menu, the menu has space to check what you want to order. The counter was a glass fridge with delicious deserts and cheeses inside, everything looked fresh. After we order our food, they told us to take a look around the shelves and choose our favorite beverage or chips and pay all together in the cashier. The variety of beverages is huge, if you need assistance or have doubts staff is around to help. Inside there are only two tables. But outside there are plenty, you can pick your favorite spot. And in a reasonable time they bring your food. Because the evening was a little chilly we tried the hot sandwiches: Uncle Fill and Betty White. Both of them very different even breads were different but so good. We also tried the Gulf Salad, it was fresh and it came with a citric dressing. Music was not loud which made it possible to talk and enjoy the evening. I think a little more illumination, maybe a string of lights around, would make the place even more appealing.”

“This was such a great place to visit. Family enjoyed this Kolache Factory opening so close to Pearland Parkway. This location has been open since last Wednesday and has been staying busy. The store is really clean and we loved the fresh look inside. The staff is really friendly especially the owner Tony. He has worked so hard to get to this point in his life. We wish him much success and will continue to support his business. Oh and the Kolaches were all fresh and super delicious. Sign up for rewards. “From the outside this restaurant is cozily constructed as to almost look like someone's home. When I walked into the quaint establishment there was no greeter to seat me and no booths, just a couch that was admittedly very comfy (how do they expect you to eat on a couch?) In hindsight it didn't bode well that there were virtually no other customers here. The server (if you could even call him that) was not very friendly at all, and bizarrely seemed like he didn't want me to be there. I could see why later on when I discovered the restaurant was filled with code violations. The silverware wasn't covered and the guy in the kitchen didn't have gloves on and was clearly nervous about me catching him. There was even a random house cat just hanging out in the dining area. Despite the terrible service, I was able to find a partial jar of peanut butter and some hotdogs somehow. They tasted like store-bought hotdogs. It was actually one of the better meals I've had recently, but that doesn't make up for the horrendous staff and eating conditions. It was so bad the police arrived right after I left! I give this restaurant 0 out of 12 stars. I will not eat here more than five or six more times.”
