“The atmosphere was so nice and I felt like I was deep in mexico. The decorations was too adorable! Staff are too kind and the dish i order was great. Idk maybe its just a thought but i was expecting to get the plates from mexico to complete the vibe. Like the same material as the coffee cups decoration on the walls. I order gorditas and they were so good! The salsa was a perfect level of spiciness. The lemonade was so fresh i was beyond happy. The oatmeal (idk why i order that with gorditas, lol) was so delicious, everything was amazing. The presentation of the gorditas wasn't anything great to take a picture of it so i didn't take one. I did added two more things so it came out pricey. In total with 4 dollar tip it was $25.34(gorditas x2, lemonade, oatmeal cup). Makes my hometown atx an embarrassment to the mexican food culture. I will definitely come back here again!”

“Service was terrible. The price for the quality and quantity of food was well worth it. The machine was having technical difficulties for a long time so that was a tad annoying. The bathroom needs work and there's a lock on the outside of the restroom as well. Thought that was a little weird so I only washed my hands.(with the door open 😆 wasn't taking any chances) It's a small mom's and pop's place and they even have the game on for the customers. That was a plus. The TV's were a tad small, couldn't really see the score but none the less it was on. The lady got the orders right but gave the wrong person the wrong food and once the other person was already eating out of the dish the waitress suggested the other person just hand it over to me instead of correcting it or bringing out another cup of beans. Long story short I just bought one for myself even though it came with my plate. It wasn't a terrible experience but I probably won't be back. I'd recommend the place but me personally I won't be returning.”

“This was an American/Mexican restaurant. It looked attractive and clean, although there was no hand sanitizer on the way in. It was about a quarter full around 11:00 am. Service was quick. The portions were satisfying, but it was lacking in flavor. The price compared to other local restaurants was a little bit higher. They only do breakfast and lunch.”

“This may be the single best executed meal I have ever had. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The salmon. The French toast. I could not have asked for better quality of product or value. A perfect brunch. Went there again today, 11 months later. Still perfect. We had the bread pudding and the pumpkin ice cream this time for dessert. The bread pudding is more custard than bread, the ice cream is a perfect balance of sweet and savory.”

“Wish I could give 10 stars. Took a trip to Mexico without crossing the border. That's how awesome the food is. All those fast food places burger has Nothing on their Mexican burger.... IT WAS HEAVEN ON A DARN PLATE!”

“First time visit. Very well maintained establishment. Staff was very pleasant, attentive and welcoming. They even changed the tv for us to watch the Dodgers Padres game. Visited with wife and couple of friends of ours who enjoyed the spot as well. We had a few drinks and spent most of our time in what appeared to be the chill side. There was another area (part of the same establishment) connected by a door that had a little more lively crowd and a very nice outdoor patio. Definitely be back”

“❤️Anytime I'm in town visiting I have to get the Tejano Plate 🍽 I've been coming here forever since they had their previous restaurant! I will always support them because the food and customer service is outstanding. Not only is their Mexican food amazing I also recommend their BBQ, they grill and smoke everything to perfection! I also tried their breakfast before leaving out of town and I was very impressed for the price you pay very affordable and alot of food, their regular breakfast tacos are the size of a large or extra large taco!! I was satisfied lol thank you!”

“One of the best Mexican restaurants to eat at. Plenty of food & our waitress was the best. More people need to tip them better since they make under $3.00 per hour. They have a family to support & deal with cranky customers.”

“Nicely decorated mexican restaurant. The male server was not happy, helpful, welcoming or attentive. I can tell he only wanted our orders and for us to get out. The margaritas were cheaper during happier hour but I tried the Reina margarita which is top shelf and bigger but save the money and get the happy hour margarita. For dinner I had the fried avocado with meat and cheese inside with queso on the side. They also gave a Tortilla soup and a fajita taco with rice and beans. The food was good but wasn't the best. I think if I tried a different menu item, maybe it'd be a better impression of the food they cook. I'd recommend you try it and hopefully you get a better waiter than we did.”

“Service was just ok. We were greeted, but not with enthusiasm. Our server was friendly and helpful. She did seem to disappear a couple times, but she was still nice. We got the artichoke dip for the appetizer. I was good, but seemed to be missing some flavor. The chips were fresh, but something was off with the flavor there also. The bread was somewhat undercooked. My steak came out medium well instead of medium rare. The server did offer to take it back, but I felt bad wasting perfectly good food if it was edible. Sweet tea was a little too sweet for my husband. Everything else in the experience was great. I don’t go here often, but they seemed to ONLY play new country. Although I enjoy the genre, they might want to mix it up a bit or mix up the country genres a bit. Not sure what their theme is though. But the music was killing me by the end of the dinner.”

“Not sure of the name of the young lady that attends to customers but she is awesome. She not only takes your orders over the phone, she also charges and takes out your order to your car. Always on the move and very attentive. Very hard worker.”

“Wonderful Cafe. Great coffee, had the Chai Latte and it was perfect. The staff are friendly and will check on you when you're eating. The food is fantastic, I had the Buffalo Mel. The sauce wasn't super spicy so I was able to enjoy it. It's definitely worth stopping by when you are walking Jackson street. Has a cozy feeling.”

“Arriving around 7pm on a Tuesday, I expected it to be busier based on the recommendation I was given. It turns out it's much busier during lunch hours. I had the seafood sampler platter and it was phenomenal. Hot, and everything tasted fresh and tender. It was so plentiful, I had to take about half back to the hotel room with me. I will definitely return.”

“Tacos are always good but this time the lonches the bread felt old and hard like when the bread is expired or put in the freezer for further use. I’m not 100% sure that was the issue about the bread but it wasn’t soft and fresh either . Other then that good place to stop and eat Tacos 💯”
