“1st time visitor as this is a new restaurant. They still have some things to work out but overall this will be a place I will return to for dinner. I ordered the Salmon & it was very good, cooked perfectly, crusted with pistachios! The portion size was perfect & the 2 sides were just right too. No super size on the plate which is nice in my opinion! My friend had the Settler's burger which was very good as well. Grass fed beef & again the serving of the fries was just right. Her husband had the Sunnyvale Sirloin which was awesome too. For dessert we ordered 1 piece of pie..the French Coconut & it was delicious.The slice of pie was larger than expected & it was still warm as it was fresh out of the oven! The owners are on site & working too...their daughter also. It's definitely family oriented.Very friendly atmosphere & they even say " We're all Family at the Settler's Table" Although they have a bar they only have beer & wine & it's a small selection at this time. But I will definitely be returning to the Settler's Table!”

“I ordered the Shrimp Scampi which is supposed to be in a wine butter sauce but it came with pink water in the bottom of the dish. Definitely not like any Scampi I've had before. Service was lacking as well. A server took my drink order & several minutes later a new server appeared & the order had not been put in yet. It took 20 minutes to get a drink. We placed our order & the food came prior to getting our salads plus we had no utensils to eat with. I was going to take the bread home as neither of us ate it . I asked for a container to take with me 3 times but never got one. My Scampi which was $19.00 & 1 drink cost $27.00. My friend had the Rib Eye which was way better than my dish but that cost was $29.00 for a steak & salad. The baked potato was $5.00 extra making her total with 2 drinks $67.00! I did notice burgers were priced at around $9.00. I realize the place is new but it has been open for a month. The entertainment was ok.....more like Karaoke style...at least on this night. Hopefully they will be able to get the kitchen & the staff coordinated.....I'll wait a while before trying again.”

“I live in the area and was craving BBQ so I checked out Shorty's BBQ. I ordered a rather large order for one person, but I wanted to taste the different food they had to offer. I ordered a 2 meat plate: chicken and ribs with sides of broccoli cheese and rice and smoked cabbage; also a pound of sliced brisket. I did not get to try the ribs because the order got confused and I received smoked brisket on the plate. Overall the service was great and the food is AMAZING!! I would recommend this BBQ restaurant to anyone wanting some quality BBQ.”
