“I ordered from Cotton Patch today. I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile. The chicken fried steak was great and the squash casserole was really good. The only problems were the overdone roll and I ordered a “loaded” baked potato. I got a solid baked potato which I had to cut and dress myself. It might have been my fault but I assumed when you order a loaded baked potato that it would come “loaded” with everything and you would have to say if you want something removed. Other than that it was great. The location is at 520 Shepherd St. in Garland, TX at a place called Revolving Kitchen. It’s a really interesting setup. Multiple restaurants in one location for To-Go orders. No sit down but worth checking it out.”

“This is a excellent place to order from. They get to you quickly and the customer service is outstanding! Food is incredible.. I usually order combination fried rice. The rice is sometimes seasoned and sometimes bland however Soy sauce or Teriyaki sauce fixes the issue of bland. The combo fried rice always has the perfect amount of meat in it. I also order BBQ OR DRY RUB Ribs. Let me say, the ribs are absolutely incredible! Ribs come with a side of spice slaw that has the right amount of Seasoning and crunch! I recommend a lovely take out night from this restaurant.”

On the second visit the lady was downright rude and the manager or team leader had to take over and apologize. He did a great job keeping a bad situation from escalating. “I ordered a customized pizza: half Hula Hawaiian and half Pepperoni with stuffed crust (not something they'd already have ready). They took exactly 15 minutes to give me my pizza after I ordered it, I consider that acceptable timing. The staff was very polite, the place was clean and even though they just opened, they did well in keeping organized the orders. The pizza was good, ingredients spread out evenly and slices were nice and straight. The one bad thing is they haven't gotten their online ordering working yet and their phone number doesn't work either so I couldn't order ahead.”

“This place is a small to go Vietnamese spot with banh cuon/uot (rice crepes filled with pork or shrimp/plain rice crepe), goi cuon (pork and shrimp spring rolls) Banh beo (water fern cakes - small rice cakes with dried shrimp topping), rice and noodle dishes (chicken, pork), Vietnamese fried egg rolls, and other dishes. There isn’t a lot on display and they put out a few containers of food on the counter to buy to go. Behind the counter is where you ask/order for the banh cuon, Banh uot, Banh Xeo and other hot foods. I believe the banh cuon/uot are the most popular foods to get here. I would stick with those items. I got egg rolls (Cha Gio) and thought they were ok. The filling was more veggie than meat. The egg rolls were 3 for $2 and I got 6. They do take credit card, but I think it needs to be over $10.”
