“My first time eating here because a friend of mine recommended it! I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by Jasmine and the lady back in the kitchen! Jasmine did an excellent job telling me about the food options on the menu! I ordered both the catfish bites and shrimp plate along with the rib tips plate. Also ordered the southern greens side and the Mac and cheese (I forgot to actually get the Mac and cheese side!). Food was EXCELLENT! This is a family owned business with the owners being from Jackson, Mississippi! I could definitely tell and taste the "home cooking" in this food! Topped it off with a slice of coconut cake! I'll definitely return again and again! A+”

“This was our first time trying this restaurant and we will definitely go back! The manager, Mirian, was so helpful and so nice. She greeted us immediately and helped us with our order. We got the Molokai chicken, luau pork, and a twisted dole whip (definitely get this). My favorite part was the gluten free options because I recently had to go gluten free and the flavors were spectacular.”

“We absolutely loved it here! We came in for our anniversary and their customer service was top notch! I’m not a meat lover but I couldn’t stop tasting all the meat they brought our way. I didn’t try there pork or chicken but everything we tasted was delicious especially their Picanha! They even gave us a slice of cake on the house for anniversary so we chose the carrot cake and it was so delicious! I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone.”

“Went during quiet time (Sunday 1:30p). Walked in and got to sit right down. First time here and enjoyed it. The food was delicious and they do have vegetarian dishes. “This place has one of the greatest burgers in the area. Food came out hot and fresh and would definitely enjoy going back to this place again. The only downfall I can say is that it was near empty when we got there and it took 25 minutes for us to get our order, which was only 2 burgers. Was kind of hoping it wouldn't have taken so long. Definitely not a place to go for lunch if you're not in any kind of hurry. But if you have time, it's worth a visit.”

“We had an excellent time at Brentwood last night! Katrina was our server - she was very knowledgeable about the menu and we appreciated her suggestions. We started with an Old Fashioned and a Spicy Pear Martini - both were delicious! For dinner my husband had the Saratoga Salmon and I ordered the Rotisserie Chicken. The pomme purée was perfectly creamy. My husband offered me a bite of his salmon (as he often does because he knows I don’t eat fish) and this time I actually took him up on his offer. The salmon had amazing flavor and I would definitely consider ordering my own in the future. We finished our meal by each ordering an espresso martini - I wish we could have this recipe!! - and splitting the Wild Berry Cobbler. The atmosphere was nice! Even sitting near the bar it wasn’t too loud! We will definitely be back and we are happy to see Brentwood added to our neighborhood!”

“Great wings! The idea of pit smoked wings made me very curious. The wings had excellent flavor with a hint of smoke. We ordered versions of hot, mild and garlic Parmesan. EXCELLENT! This was our second visit to this location and the staff made the atmosphere very enjoyable both times. They encountered an issue with their registers accepting credit/debit payment but they took this in stride by having customers use the app to collect credit card payments. Very impressive customer oriented staff members. Great job!”

“Went there this past Valentine's Day for a date and it was a beautiful location, they're repainting the outside so I'm sure it'll look better. But the inside was awesome! They have an arcade area with a giant Pacman machine and I think a giant Space Invaders game and I loved all the flashing lights! They have a pong room, and the bowling area was really nice and fun. When I went, there weren't a lot of people so it definitely felt intimate and fun! The food was really good, the drinks and the vanilla shake were also top tier. And the customer service was really good as well. Overall, I'm definitely going to come back with some friends and have some more fun there! Thank you for the great experience!”

“Vidorra is one of my favorite places to visit on the weekend. The restaurant is always full of high energy and music, and you really can’t go wrong with the food. If you want to check out a new spot on Friday/Saturday nights without having to go downtown, this is a nice option, as most of the restaurants in the area turn into lounges/clubs in the evening. I recommend checking it out for brunch. You really can’t go wrong with this place!”

“Absolutely amazing! We ate at a Mendocino farms in LA a few years ago and ever since have raved about their Couscous Salad. So excited there is finally one in Dallas. “Brunch was amazing. The ambience was so warm and welcoming and we loved the waterfalls. We started off with mimosas and fruit. Then moved on to enjoy Catfish, fried shrimp, and CREAMY cheddar grits with a side of collard greens (favorite side). I had to emphasize creamy because those grits were amazing. I always have to enjoy a sweet as well so I included an order of waffles. They had a great sweet flavor and the syrup came out with its own warmer to keep it at the perfect temperature. 10/10 I recommend 🤩”

“Food was really good and fair price. We had shrimp flautas and grilled tilapia. Mixed drinks were tasty at $8 a pop. They do charge you for chips and salsa, but salsa was good. Only down side was the service was slow. Friendly..but slow. There were only 4 guests at the bar ..a small party..and 1 other table...so not sure why we were attended to better..maybe new staff. All that said..I would go back”
