Black Bear Diner

I love coming here for an old fashioned American style meal; the breakfast they serve is the star of the show.

The portions at Black Bear are incredibly generous and the service at this location is top notch. If you enjoy french toast, try their bear claw french toast. Be warned, after having it, french toast any other way will pale in comparison. It's a religious experience I can assure you. I've had most of the menu here and have never been disappointed, so don't be afraid to order anything.

So happy when I learned Black Bear Diner decided to come to Texas. They are on my short list when I'm in the mood for breakfast or American cuisine.

My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and I order the patty melt!Everything came out in a timely matter, we didn’t have to wait long at all. It was hot and made to order! The staff was welcoming and super nice! The portion size of the food is enough for two people! If you haven’t tried stop by and give them a try! You will not regret it!!

Customer Service and Food is 5 stars......my family and I will definitely be back. The portions are on the Large side and that is always a plus. The managers and the waitress staff did an excellent job making sure that our meals were made to our satisfaction. They went above and beyond. Thank you for starting my 8 year olds birthday off with happiness! We enjoyed all of our food!

We love a diner and are excited this one has opened. The"rustic" decor is really cute and as welcoming as the staff. Everyone was energetic and positive. The vibe was great.

The food was good, but had some misses. The burger, thick and juicy, seemed to lack seasoning. I had a BBQ burger, and maybe the plain patty was meant to be a good for the honestly excellent Smoky BBQ sauce. But when you bite the meat and all you get is mouth feel?

My wife liked her California Bacon Benedict, especially the bacon. But there was something in the hash browns that was vaguely unpleasant. Was it raw russet potato taste? I couldn't place it, and while it wouldn't phase me, she drowned the browns in my BBQ sauce. Can't blame her there.

The concept is cute and the food deserves a second chance. We'll be back.
